I love this game, played it on release on PS4 then again on PS5 version.. i have a gaming laptop which ive played Days Gone on Ultra settings and it certainly looks more detailed in certain parts.
I just find turning on a PS5 or Xbox and launching a game to play just easier and less hassle. Every time i want to play a game on a PC i spent more time faffing with settings and mods or downloading updates for drivers to ensure it runs smooth.
Some people find that part of the joy but frankly thats not gaming its admin 😂
Watching this locked at 60fps on a 4090 made me cry for exactly 60 seconds. 😭
I mean 60 fps is enough regardless of the hardware you're using.

ok for thos who want to know on my setup 4090 with I9 13900KF game is not stable non stop fps jumping from 120 to 150 without frame generation and with dlls frame gen is between 160 to 180 fps, true is you cant fill those jumps but yu see them on fps counter like all time, on Horizon Forbidden West game was stable without going up and down

The fight at 5:30 looks better. Maybe the golden temple area is messed up? Under the yellow leaf trees the lighting make it look very flat shaded.

Those settings just make the game look worse only for more frames. TAA is perfect as is without any downscaling.
@@soulstryker9911 There is no reason to not enable DLAA instead of TAA, it basically the same FPS but much clenaer visuals. What you say is DLSS not DLAA.

All the light and post-processing effects can't hide the graphics were dated even 5 years ago.
I love the game. But yeah. Texture fudelity and other things despite quality character models and sime other features would need a completd overhaul

4090 max up do between 120 -150 fps and with frame gen 130 - 180 fps, game is not stable and fps counter is changing every second, I think they will fix that in future, locking on 120 fps helps. Graphics are same like in AC Odyssey , you can fill this game have few years and cant compare to new titles. Gameplay saves it.

Judging by the gpu usage, I doubt it would go over 100FPS, so no need to uncap the frame in my opinion.
P.S. 20gigs of ram is crazy, the most I've ever used in a game was in Ghost Recon Breakpoint at about 17gb (and 2 Chrome windows open).

@@shuyaku99thats BS, this game deserves to be hyped especially when you learn how many short amount of developers were involved in making ghost of tsushima. This game has such a huge impact that its still being compared with newer titles having similar genre. Not to mention colors on this videos are wayy to off the game doesn’t look that much bad.

Ive been so hyped for this game and now that i have it i cant play it, it wont launch. Crashes itself and my pc. Guess ill just watch someome else playthrough it on yt

No, the developer's focused on lighting and atmosphere above everything else. And it sucks because there is so much potential but instead it looks like a ps3 game

@@damnbrosky yeah i mean what did people expect? Its a PS4 port from 4 or 5 yrs ago so.. but im positive about some graphics mods in future to make it an absolut beast of a cinematic samurai story. The lightning and shadows are still fantastic
