Taking your sedan or a ute for a driving assessment? You better WATCH this because the 3 line reverse parking method may not work. Do you find the 3-line guide confusing? Let us know!
I drive a 08' Hyundai Elantra, and I feel that lining the third line with my shoulder then reverse at full lock, I can then pretty accurately fit between the lines.
Will do! We have a lot of outdated ones on the channel. Now they revamped the area a bit. It's on the list. Probably in the next 10 days or so (keep an eye on the channel). Thanks for your suggestion 🙏
when turning at traffic lights, whether it be from a dedicated turning lane or a normal traffic light intersection, do you have to wait behind the white line for the car in front of you to fully clear the intersection before you can move over the white line?
Yes you do! Always ensure you can proceed through the intersection (no car in front that can get you stranded in the middle) before you cross the white solid line. Also, keep an eye on changing lights in which case you will wait for the next green light Cheers!
It depends on the assessor but unfortunately most of them will mark you down. I personaly don't see any problem if you are not interfering with any traffic while reversing (if starting at a 45 degree angle). My advce, line up straight and reverse. They value good observation skills, so check all the ankles frequently. Let us know how you go mate!

will i fail if i use the angled method or just a mark down?

Will they mark me down if its in but sort of tilted at an angle? I assume they will, I'm in the lines but I always end up a bit tilted. Thanks
It depends on the assessor and how much on an angle you are. But you can drive forward and correct it
