Thanks for the review! I've tried tean's gourmet which is my favorite, por kwan which was too sour for me like you said. I DEFINITELY cant wait to find and try woh hup paste in asian store where i live!!
Haha that sounds like a great idea. Best of both worlds. Thanks so much for the sub! This means a lot to me. I am hoping to really put out more Asian product review this year.
Tried the Woh Hup one today. Used the packet of 105g for at least 2l of liquid though. Otherwise too hot chilli wise. More Shrimpy in flavour than the Tean's Gourmet one.

Great videos and some tasty recipes. Keep it up! Good presence and music, too!
Thank you. That was such a sweet comment. I appreciate that.
I love your show and... your jazz background music!
Thanks so much Michael. Really appreciate the comment.
I might be tempted to mix the Tean's Gourmet and the Woh Hup. Great video! Just found your channel. I've subbed.

Prima is the absolute best. Tastes like Singaporean laksa
The prima instant laksa noodles are also great, chewy and thick
Which’s one is less spicy the most plz, coz I can’t eat spice
Thanks
your review would help me to choose laksa paste when I go to Malaysia soon!! thanks!
My all time favorite fod in Singapore and Malaysia 😊
I've used the Tean's Gourmet one before. It reminds me of Lao Khao Poon

May I know what kind of noodles did you use? Thanks
Can you tell me which noodle you used please? And how you cooked it thank you
I used the Jian Xi brand. Round rice noodles.
@@YappieKitchen thank you
You should mention the difference in ingredients
I know… I’m retrospect I should have. We literally winged it so I didn’t think out the video through. Next time.
They all look good. But sign me up for that spicey one!
Thank you for this!!
when you say "spicy" do you mean hot as in hot peppers or do you mean intense flavors"
Yes when I say spicy, I get more chilies and galangal (which is a type of ginger). Higher in the Scoville scale.
Woh Hup is always the winner
I can’t find it anymore 😭
Where are u located? In Canada u can find it at T&T
@@YappieKitchen in Western Australia. Everywhere has run out since Covid! I haven’t seen any jars in any Asian grocers I go to lol makes me so sad!
