  • Foreigner attends a Hindu Indian Wedding in Delhi that cost half a million dollars!
As part of my 5 month trip in India, my friend Krishna invited me to a traditional hindu indian wedding in Delhi and it was UNBELIEVABLE.
They spent nearly half a million dollars on the wedding, so you can imagine how crazy it was. Cuisines from every part of the world, performers, bands, a bar and MUCH more. Yes, you read that right, people drink at hindu indian weddings. A lot!

All Indian states and union territories are best in their unique ways. We should celebrate the unity and diversity of India. I'm from Mangaluru, Karnataka. I feel every place in India is vibrant. We must travel the length and breadth of India to experience Incredible India. You listed a good number of tourist places within Karnataka. Good on you. I believe every state and union territory has something to offer to both domestic and international tourists. 🙂

Hey bro..being an Indian myself living in India..I totally disagree with you..An Indian family ..be it a farmer with one cent or even a roadside labourer will toil hard in his life just to marry his daughter in the presence of a whole village and nearly 10 to 15 items in food..being a South Indian ..I cannot imagine what you told even 50 to 100 years back..In India..marriage is about gathering..from the whole village..to bless the couple and have a feast...
Atleast in the South Indian states..it is not the case..I can confidently tell that you are totally wrong..what has changed in the marriages is the wedding locations and decorations of the place...but definitely not the number of people and food items..

Myself married to an Italian, the genuine Kerala Hindu temple wedding, which was a simple religious ceremony in temple in white saree with gold border and hubby in white mundu. Lasted not more than 10 minutes. Then we did have an evening reception in kovalam resort with music, dance and good food. Definitely not a big fat wedding. That’s not normal in Kerala and we preferred to keep everything traditional. India is huge.. traditions and weddings change from north to south, east to west. That’s the beauty of india. ❤

Foreign mai maine suna hai ki subah shaadi karte hein, dopahar ko honeymoon aur raat ko divorce.
