- Foreigner attends a Hindu Indian Wedding in Delhi that cost half a million dollars!
As part of my 5 month trip in India, my friend Krishna invited me to a traditional hindu indian wedding in Delhi and it was UNBELIEVABLE.
They spent nearly half a million dollars on the wedding, so you can imagine how crazy it was. Cuisines from every part of the world, performers, bands, a bar and MUCH more. Yes, you read that right, people drink at hindu indian weddings. A lot!

The complexity and elaborateness of an average Indian wedding is mind boggling. Trying to even understand the rituals and various celebrations within the marriage can make one go crazy.
This was not an average indian wedding, and there is nothing such like indian wedding our culture pan India differs acc to region
@@sniper9416 what are you saying bro. You can find same rituals and celebrations in every wedding. Just everything comes with budget. If you have low budget than the venue will be little small, less people will attend but the enthusiasm will be same in every wedding

Manas Sharma it was the best wedding I’ve EVER been to! And the food 🤤🤤🤤
This is not Indian style of wedding. This is way ahead . It's's all blended and fusion, no hindusium performed and enjoy wine party. It's elite group , international people wedding , they choose their traditional styles not bound by Indian tradition.
@@ymwiseman6503 time evolves, so yeah it's still remarked as Indian wedding ...
@@ymwiseman6503 the video title is not 'traditional indian wedding' but rather 'indian wedding' so i guess its fine as long as its an indian wedding.
This is a hindu wedding😊
It's marvelous that some people can afford such a lavish wedding... But the thing is when soo much things are going around... Couples just almost forget to feel the emotion & enjoy. themselves
Yess I know what you mean, but this was more the party and they had a separate private ceremony with just the family, so they got a bit of both 🙌🏻💫
it's the reception, in other rituals mostly family members are there.
They enjoy after tieing the knot ....so relax
Well in north we enjy this type of celebrations......we enjoy to share our happiness with others....the main rituals usually held at late night(taaron ki chaav main) in which only main family members appears!!its all about choices!!
Its a waste. I guess if you are really rich, then its ok. many indian parents get into debt after marriage . And really after seeing such excess, then people look for dowries.

I am from India and specially north. I have never seen this much luxurious wedding. I think for most of the Indians this type of big fat wedding is very uncommon.
This is terrible extravagant
In this glamour and showoff the true colour and spirit of Real Indian wedding has lost. Everyone's attention is more on glamour , less on rituals
There is no real Indian wedding.Whats real?Super rich North Indian type wedding or a simple South Indian wedding or is it in the court itself. The answer is none. Its your marriage do what ever you like if you have capability to that is.So stop putting your ideas of rituals on other people everyone has their own set of doing things.Even if its for glamour as you say it is it's perfectly fine cause the guests enjoy the family enjoys and if they have the money then might as well go for it.
True....this stupid people spend lots of money ...
Rituals are not important ,wedding is not validated my rituals but the consent of two people
@@latestnewmovies4850 very immature reply. If rituals are not so important then Why they are wearing Sherwanis and bridal lehnga. Why everyone is roaming in marriage attire? Why to call priest for chanting mantras ? Do Court marriage with signnature on paper with mutual consent. Without any ritual.

Atleast in the South Indian states..it is not the case..I can confidently tell that you are totally wrong..what has changed in the marriages is the wedding locations and decorations of the place...but definitely not the number of people and food items..

The thing is this a very expensive wedding. Majority of us don't have the capability of spending a fraction of this amount. But no matter how small the wedding is, the mood is always this festive. Lesser budget, smaller venue, less variations of food items but it's always this fun.

Myself married to an Italian, the genuine Kerala Hindu temple wedding, which was a simple religious ceremony in temple in white saree with gold border and hubby in white mundu. Lasted not more than 10 minutes. Then we did have an evening reception in kovalam resort with music, dance and good food. Definitely not a big fat wedding. That’s not normal in Kerala and we preferred to keep everything traditional. India is huge.. traditions and weddings change from north to south, east to west. That’s the beauty of india. ❤
