Hi All and thanks a bunch for watching my todays video on North Stradbroke Beaches, off the Coast of Brisbane in Queensland. You showed us some beautiful beaches Chris! I think it’s so cool you guys can drive on so many beaches. There’s no beaches near us where we can drive, even if there were we don’t have a 4x4 so it wouldn’t make a difference, lol 😂
Living in Brisbane, there isn't a lot of areas to drive on a beach, But you can find them within a couple of hours. owning a 4wd is big here in Australia, as well as the Caravan or camping options, so I think they need to open more driving beaches so people escape the crowds sometimes. It was nice that Stradbroke Island had so many options to choose from and might go for a camping trip there sometime as well.
I think Point Lookout beach would be our favorite. Seems to offer the best of all worlds with spots for swimming, surfing, and hiking. Ohh but Main beach offers that isolated/secluded beach experience that we also love, and Frenchman's is sooot pretty. This is a really great compilation video for anyone looking to visit North Stradbroke Island, and we would gladly spend the day at any of these beaches!
Its a really popular place to visit ...thinking we might go for camping weekend again there soon, instead of the hotel. I love camping right on the beach 👍 Thanks for watching guys
Do you have much beach camping spots in your area. I think you said that you don't have much beach driving so wondering how you get there? Our beach camping spots are normally accessed by driving on the beach with a 4wd..... otherwise you have spots in caravan parks next to the beach...which can be good too 😁
@@AquariusTraveller I know there are some state parks that have beaches that allow camping. There are a lot of RV parks close to beaches too. The options might be different on the other (East) coast of Florida (there are some areas over there you can drive on the beach)
Brown Lake again!!? 😜 Fantastic production, Chris! Who can choose from those beaches!? Sign me up! 😉 Again…lovely mix of ground and aerial footage. Spot on with the textual adds. I reckon you should treat yourself to a ground camera without that damn fish eye. Awesome production, Director! 🙏🏼🥂
Your awesome Nate and thanks so much...yep brown lake again. Been trying some different stuff and using different keywords for the same footage and bringing more specific targets for what people want to see. It's surprising how mich my RUclips and Google search has increased over the past month. I do it with my blogs too. I do have a fish eye and a dome lens on my underwater camera.... I do take it away sometimes. If you remember the snake footage from booloumba creek...it was taken with the dome lens. 👍
Fish eyes work great underwater with very little distortion... the 8mm lens allows me to get an entire huge whale shark in the frame while being so close
@@AquariusTraveller I’m totally about finding shooting locations that come up in a search. Many of my vids are slow-burners because of this. I’m running at nearly half (46-47%) of views coming from Google and YTube searches. 🤷🏻 Bloody game. 😉 Happy weekend!
@@nategordon I think I'm at 40% You Tube Search, 20% suggested, 15% external ( toss up between google search and my website). Been fun trying to learn it all - haha. Your right - They are slow burners and find they still get views for ages!
@@AquariusTraveller Hi Chris! I’m old and old-fashioned, so I don’t bother with hashtags either. I go with fair dinkum productions in locations that are searchable (with the exception of Backyard Droning…due to COVID)…whether the location is popular or rubbish…at least it’s searchable. 😉
@@AquariusTraveller From the UK, our son is in Sydney, we planned to go there for Christmas but this obviously got cancelled. Next year may be if the world is back to normal:-)
@@RossAngell fingered crossed for us all. I just had a FB memory come up today that it was 3 years ago today I flew to London for a 6 weeks Europe trip. I miss having so much freedom but enjoying my queensland adventures. I have have remote birdsville coming up this week. I hope your son is ok in Sydney...I know things are getting more tense down there.
I'm about to do a bit of a Mythbusting video about there being no beaches in Brisbane. Would I be able to use about ten seconds of your footage which will be directly credited to your channel in the video itself and in the video description? I can rip it straight from your channel, so you won't need to search for the video to send.
HAHA - Sounds like a good video for you Adam and please feel free :) - You might want to look at Moreton and Bribie too - I have beachy shots from there too Look forward to seeing it
@@AquariusTraveller Thanks heaps! Will look at Moreton Island too, but Bribie is Sunshine coast so it doesn't count. Will be focusing on the beaches on the mainland, but need to mention the island beaches as they are in Greater Brisbane LGAs. Thanks again.
