I have a tip for you get yourself a canvas and practice brushstrokes practice trees practice clouds practice blending practice using the paints and mixing the paints before you dive into a project like this it is much more difficult than it appears.
Wet on wet takes a lot of practice, people really make it look easy because of how fast they do it, because they have practiced for years. I am also a wet on wet painter, it isnt something you get right away, it takes a lot of practice

The Bill Alexander/Bob Ross wet on wet technique very well done. I like that you just concentrated on the painting parts unlike Bill and Bob would tend to go off on some tangents at times.... To folks who have not tried this painting method it really is this easy once you practice with the brushes and knife for a little while and watch your paint consistencies. A problem I was having at first was attempting to build up thicker consistency paint highlights on thinner base and that does not work very well as the thicker paint will not so easily come off the brush. Need to thin the paint a bit to lay on the highlights. Just the opposite when using the knife as you want the paint a little thicker when laying on the mountain highlights which causes it to break better giving the illusion of rock showing through the snow. When you get more adept at it a painting like this can be easily done in around 30 to 45 minutes.
