Literally every journalist gave Elden ring and the DLC 10/10 and it’s a masterpiece. IGN does have good reviewers, but for every 1 there’s 10 more people who are unqualified to review certain games.
And it's not as if the novel hasn't been translated into English--it has been! Plus it was an influence on the creation of DRAGON BALL. All this journalist had to do was look all of this up.
They claim that it will expand their audience into new demographics. But in reality, all it's doing is alienating the existing audience, while the mythical "modern audience" never seems to show up..

I'll happily reward a company that has the Spine and the Stones to tell DEI to piss off, and to stay true to their original creative vision.

I've been saying that part of ign 7 score, is because of the fan service controversy. They will lie and say that it's the other cons that they listed but they won't because of the blacklash that screen ranks is now getting.
I'm very sure games will continue to be reviewed like that though, having points taken off for fan service and "not enough diversity" the only difference would be if they disclose that they did it or not.

Some people are complaining the lack of female main characters in the game. But the story is based on Buddhist mythology, with abstinence a main point moral of Buddhism. So these people are basically offended by Buddhism.
This game is SO DIVERSE! Look at all the animal spirits: monkey, bull, crow, tree, insect... Almost every living animals are well represented. Even many gods appear although as cameos. It's so diverse and inclusive! I'm sure Goddess Kuan Yin approves this game! Meanwhile Sweet Babi inc games only features HUMANS alone. That's so NOT diverse and inclusive!

I strongly agree with the message of this video, but I don't like how half the time the word "literally" was use, it was used in place of the word "figuratively." "Figuratively" and "literally" don't mean the same thing and they are not interchangeable words.

It's as if they want us to live in Babylon so we're all saying a bunch of words without any meaning behind it. For example, what does "community" mean? It should mean a collection of people within a geographical location or a digital location on the internet, who have built a relationship together. But how has that word been used the last 5 years or so? They use it as if it means nothing. If they say "The gay community," then what does that sentence mean? Are they referring to an actual community full of gay people? Are they talking about San Francisco? No, they replaced the word "population" with "community" so that "community" means nothing. I can go on a huge rant but I'll leave it at that. Definitions are important.
