What a gorgeous place. Good luck you two and stay safe.
The serenity reminds me of Bonnydoon.
Spectacular drone footage..
Look at Margarita go trimming the sails,,,,,,,, what a girl ..... Keep well and Safe
Great video, Thanks guys.
WOW IT TAKES A LOT OF WORK TO SET IT UP,YOU ARE PROFESIONALS.
Great video guys , such a nice scenario and margarita looks fabulous
I hear that Rio Dulce has a sweet boat yard further inland. That's where Parlay Revival did a bunch of work on their cat.
Peter, you have a top sailing chuck in Marguerita!!...An enviable partner. Well done to both of you in getting as far as you have and sticking with each other through the crap you've been through. Its clear that there have been some goooooood times too....some of them you are enjoying now.
Really nice little film again. Such beautiful place there to bad you have to worry about thieves
Good job on handling the sails Margarida!
Thanks Bob. We hope you and your Ma n Pa are doing well
Awesome video!
Wow! Look at that sailor girl work those sheets! A thing of beauty if I ever saw one. Good on ya Plukky. Sharp looking channel too.
Nice!
Great video, stay safe guys.
Grate video Guys Happy new year to you Both
Watching the sailing in the beginning, dam plucky you taught her well!
Great.
That was really smart who ever thought of plastering Margaridas picture all over this channel. 🙋 sailors wave.
Very beautiful 😍👍
I just found your channel. I subscribed. Keep the videos coming. Happy sailing.
Nice one
Margarida. The most beautiful, capable, and motivated lady on the internet.
Wow...I think we have an admirer
@@SAILINGintoFREEDOM More like 63,000!
amaazing views. Merry Christmas Peter and Maguarida from PEI Canada, Bryan.
Good on you Bryan. Merry Christmas to you too
Wow , what a fabulous looking place - and if you didn't go by boat , how would you explore ?
Certainly couldn't cut through the jungle . So quiet. More of this place guys :)
I've never seen another sailing channel in Guatemala ! Thumbs up
Stay safe and have a very happy and merry Christmas and New Year.
And you have a merry Christmas too.
Gorgeous.
Maaaate. So glad you have kept your dream alive after that terrible setback. On ya mate !
Lov ur channel 👍👍
Good on ya buddy. Keep sharing it around, a month a ago we actually went down in subscriptions for a few days running....it may be the beginning of the end ha
Well Flokky .... i need to say you are a good sailing Teacher. my Compliments, Margarida is extremely very talented. Thumbs up mates. I love you very much. 😍👍
Well I have heard Plunky, Clappy, Podgy.....and now Flokky....all good...i settle for just "you with the curly hair"
@@SAILINGintoFREEDOM I am sorry , I have realized that I made a mistake 😍... yes .. the curly hair was the reason 👍
Over 6 foot draft over that bar. I didn't know it was possible. Thanks for sharing.
Not only that but if you get local knowledge you can get in at 7 feet but you may need to power thru some mud for about 100m
That is good to know. We have a 6'4"" draft and now I know it's possible. Thanks
I got a real kick out of the first 2 minutes, watching Margarida bust butt to get the sails out. Then I noticed how flat and calm the seas were ... looks like that initial sequence was shot in nearly perfect conditions!
looking forward to Peter fixing up the boat, his jack of all trades and master of none !!!!
Emphasis on the last
That little girl is a good sailor.
Raoul seems to have found a good business oppourtunity :-), taking your comment on the dinghy one step further - hoisting deflating your dinghy would seem like a decent anti-theft measure (if a bit of a pain to reinflate it)
How on earth do you manage Plukky, it sure looks exhausting work watching Margarita..............!
Damn Plukky! You ought to be doing the heavy work!
@@jackterry7664 Jack, who da heck wants to watch him !! he he
That's a bit harsh not2late but I agree
Pete get some dyneema and make a loop through the mainsail clew and around the boom ,other wise you are going to rip the foot slides out eventually .A torn sail would ruin your day .love your vids just being a sailmaker I cringe every time I see the sail
We made a loop up in Rio. Thanks for suggesting it. Keep em coming.
Good work getting where you are, sounds a bit like the wild west, take care,.
Grande! Great stuff, and it didnt look like anyone was going to die this time ha ha. Always love ya stuff. And yer how was that serenity. Dont know how you dont lose that winch handle, and Margaretta doesnt get her hair caught, but it was a wander to behold seeing sail trimming done like a pro.
And how would an electric fence charger go on your hand rail? Would that deter them theaven scoundrils? Wet hands wet feet?
Dont know. Probably get me more than them
looked like you were moving fast in the beginning.
Hey mate, when ya dont see other boats around ? dont ya think thats a sign not to anchor in sketchy places ?
No. The best places are the ones where no one is around
Margarida is smarter than the Captain !!!
I used to spread thumbtacks on deck to help and welcome curious locals. They're always barefoot and one wrong step usually sent them packing. Its a shame that some of them are so poor that they feel it's OK stealing from people that they perceive as being super rich. I actually caught a teenager trying to steal from me. It's a long story but learned how poor they were and i felt pretty bad. So I had some clothing I got from my local thrift shop that I'd bring to give or trade to villagers that I gave to his family and the thief turned into our security/guide.
learn that from Joshua Slocum?
@@maxwilm76 I learned it from a retired Marine with a 50+ft Irwin center cockpit ( think was a 53 or 57ft) about 20 years ago. He was passing through the marina where I was working on his South. I put him on the back side of the fuel dock because it was late in the season and there was no point in fighting with a 3kt current for a different slip. So we'd shoot the bs during the day and he'd teach me all kinds of stuff about sailing
I wish I could remember his name but I learned a lot from him just shooting the bs with him.
Could anything ever be more amazing than a beautiful woman on a beautiful sailboat??!!??
Would have been nice if someone had answered your radio call,it's all a bit odd.
I don't think I'd bother going to these places where they want to rob everything from your boat, but there must
be something you know, that I don't that makes these places worth visiting.
Go the sailer girl in the opening scene making sure everything is just right 👍
Come back to cayman
Oh look, there's a place with a 2 foot draft. Let's see if we can go there, because after all there are thieves in that area and we wouldn't want to miss out. Why do I feel like if you go exploring the forest there may not be a boat to return to? It's all good. Nothing but quality and danger here folks.
friarfox : nothing ever gets stolen in the USA. You have zero crime. I forgot
@@frankd2301 Yeah, it's exactly like this, isn't it? America has to warn visitors when they arrive that they WILL be robbed...right.
hey guys
do a tribute to lulu
Holy sh!t... after 3 days of thinking id seen her somewhere before i just realised one of the Scandinavian girls that was murdered in Morocco by isis the other day was on the boat... seriously im sure its her... Louisa Vesterager Jespersen
OMG... Beautiful Lulu, this is tragic. People don't go looking for the video of this heinous act, here is a news report!

Beyond belief. We are all in shock
Omg small world, beyond belief!
When the world pretends muslims aren't the problem, you live with this.
Is the mess of rope under foot not a danger of getting in the bite!!
It certainly is. We got rope bags made up in Rio so they will be used in the future
Put scuba gear on a blow up doll and leave it on deck all night to scare off pirates. 💣
good one
It sucks that you always have to be on the lookout for people stealing your things.
"Come to Guatemala - We guarantee you'll be robbed!"
Hay pluck.... Where one of these girls your crew... Maren Ueland and 24-year-old Dane Louisa Vesterager Jespersen
Lulu
Yep

This is a great video. Just an FYI i have closed my Patreon account because of the people they are defunding. If you have a different way for me to send you funds let me know. You may have gotten a weird message from me on Patreon when I canceled. It’s not you.
You can click on the paypal thingy if you like. It should be in the synopsis.
Or here it is. www.paypal.me/Plukky. Thanks SV Iorek
I cancelled my account as well. Not gonna finance fascism.
my boat is rigged to run off just 1 winch.........so much easier
Cheaper too
@@SAILINGintoFREEDOM I know right look at all those winches on your boat the guy who set it up has lots of money
@@razzorbladz so much money he didn't even install good self tailing winches?
@@Josef_R I don't think they had self tailing winches when that boat was new?
