- Going over some of the struggles I've had building this car over the past year! Hope no one has to go through what I've been through but the hope is back up and the car will come out strong!

You know I always say, if you want a car with more speed and performance. Don't modify one, Buy a stock one that has it built in at the factory.

feel ya. I dropped a jdm de into my 03 z and had setbacks. I trusted a shop to help me through the "hard" stuff and found out later they jus stole 1k. Don't equate the car to the experiences from the shops. She was as much a victim as u were. If that's the case, wrap the car and change the oil cap setup. You'll feel better once you claim her back, I know I did.

I love Nissan I love Nissan a lot. But what I am finding is cheap big Power and Nissan do not go together. The 300ZX 350Z 370Z and GTR are all expensive platforms to make big Power.
Yep, just to put into perspective, with my mercedes i only need btwn 3 to 4 k to boost it up to 700hp, all with high quality and reliability, in a z that will cost you from 20 to 60k depending on quality lol
That sucks that you can't get a shop that will work with you. The best shop I've heard of in that area is slow motion motor sports but that's hours away

You're in pretty deep to turn around now. It'll be worth it once you get it all working. I would have been down to help with the fab with my tig welder I use to live an hour from Fort Wayne

Sooo.. I need help, seems like you know a lot about 350z.. sooo let's say that I have 20,000$ the car costs around 5,000$ is it worth to buy it and modify it with 15,000$ I'm looking for somewhere 500 to 600 horsepower so should I do it?
What fuel return system are u running?
Start researching the shops before you go to them and then go talk to the people at the shop to see what type of people they really are before giving them your money.

I know you already spent a lot, but I'd suggest finding a used powerlab or momentum setup. I'm running the powerlab right now with 3582r and I installed by myself wasn't too difficult. There are writeups on my350z also that made it even easier. Only thing I didn't like was that it deleted the windshield washer but I'll just redo the cold side if/when I get a built motor. It's also hard to find the extended ac lines but you can do something custom also. Keep doing vlogs on this car you don't see to many vq channels. Good luck bro hmu if you wanna compare notes. My setup is on a G35 sedan btw.
Yeah real familiar with that kit just drained with this car that's the kit I was going for from the start just wanted something custom I'll ride this kit out a bit and see what happens here shortly I wanted to be a bit different hope it gets better from here! Thanks for the support!
I dont get it. How do you blow up a turbo? Is it bad tuning or people just people the car too much or too many pounds of boost?
Not enough oil, to tight of BOV spring, not letting your car idle to cool down the turbo before shutting it off. You don't want to cook the oil in the bearings.

Not at all man that's partially why I'm documenting this for people to show a story kind of gone south not just the glorified stories everywhere I'm showing as much as I can to help people
CarTech hey bro thanks for replying! i just had one thing left to say! i want to mod my 350 but just full bolt ons, what would be some simple things to gain hpower! im not really into cars n stuff so i dnt really no what are the good things to put on! i mean ive done my own research but its kinda hard forme sinse im not a enthusiast with cars! but anyway was thinking some headers, air-cool-intake, cataylic converter, and other than that i dnt know what lol im not a mechanic but wont it help if i get like different spark plugs(better quality) different time belt, and i think theyre called gas injectors umm dnt know lmao! but wish you can explain better bro or atleast help me out!👌👍 thanks!!

@@stevenfiggs2894 yeah if you're unable to modify your own car then get something fast out of the box. even people who are not into cars know that a good reputable mechanic is hard to find. btw don't use the word "kit" if you roll up to a shop and ask them to make you a kit for something you're prob an easy target to scam, it's a clear indication you don't know what you're talking about.
