    Sounds great. Always been curious as to why Merle's original recording is in F#.

      Typically it would be because that's the key that fit his voice the best for this song. But he sang it in G on his live shows, and it doesn't sound like it's too high for his voice, so I can't be sure why they recorded in F#.

    Ken Carlson, never got to hear your complete talent performed alone with out the song playing but in our opinion you have that rare talent that is god gifted.. Your equpt.,good guitar and sounds help a lot of folks sound better but your skills are something one is born with. . Have a Gibson acoustic that was priced $1,400.00. and play a little but feel much under talented now.. The only complaint would be making it simplistic and slow..repeat and easy.

      Thanks. This is a "preview" of the full lesson. In the full lesson I break each lick note for really slow, and play it normal speed and slow speed. You can learn more about this lesson and many more at countryguitarchops.com

    can you tell us what settings you used on your tele; and what amp settings? Also, what pedals you used, if any...

    • @CountryGuitarChops
      @CountryGuitarChops  8 лет назад

      It's not so much the amp settings, it's the mic I used to record with, which was a good old Sm 57 for this lesson. The amp was a 74 Deluxe Reverb, bass around 7, treble around 6. The effects are the same ones I typically use, reverb, delay and compressor.

      Thanks for the info. It sounds like pedal steel guitar @ 0.08?

    • @CountryGuitarChops
      @CountryGuitarChops  8 лет назад

      No, it's 2 guitars. The lower pitched harmony part is a little loud in the mix.

      Hi Bob. You can either join the online members section, or purchase the lesson in the DVD or download format. Most of my customers these days subscribe to the online members section because you get access to every single lesson I've made and any more I make in the future. Go to countryguitarchops.com

      @@bobwinterfeld4627 Hi Bob. I received your email as well and have responded. It sounds like you haven't logged in correctly, or your not clicking on the big blue button that reads "MEMBERS LESSONS" once you've logged in. Regardless, I my email I asked you to call me so I can understand exactly what the issue is, and get you up and running asap.
