I feel a bit melancholy knowing how many we’ve lost from this wonderful cast. These films were the perfect storm of actors, sets, costumes and directors; not to mention the dazzling effects! These films are truly loved by all ages, which is something rare . They will live long through generations.

I'm trying to think of any recent ish type movie s where this many cast members died. There's a time line online that shows someone has died nearly every year since the movie started.

I love this place. I’m fortunate to live nearby and have friends that worked on the production in the SFX and props department, and it’s because of them that I have some amazing items used in the movies. So to see their work up close is amazing.
One friend spent months building the gigantic Hogwarts model only for it to be replaced after 1 movie with a CGI version.

Great tour. It’s changed a lot since I last went.
Just a note to anyone travelling any distance to get the tour. It’s not actually in London, it’s actually in Watford, Hertfordshire. It’s not far from London, but it is another train out to Watford and then a bus to get to it.
We just took a bus from kings cross train station. I don't recall needing to take a train.
That did confuse me when they said london

Also! Seeing Snape and Slughorn in their potions element made me recall the first movie Snape, what he asked Harry about the asphodel, translates to “I bitterly regret Lily’s death” the entire movies and books he was looked at as a villain, just so sad Harry didn’t realize he was a hero until after his death!
This is amazing and when I went a few years ago, I disappeared to the toilet and reappeared in a witch outfit. My mum and my sister were a bit surprised to say the least.
It’s an immense place and tour but it also makes you appreciate the work of Prop Makers. There are tens of thousands of props made for the HP movies
I probably watch this series twice a year. My go to feel good cozy films.
I’ve been twice and cried both times. Walking through the great hall and seeing hogwarts got me all emotional
I was there on 3rd of September and I loved every second of it ! It was by far the highlight for me on my one week trip to London 🤩 love London! I‘m from Germany :)
How long does the tour typically take? We have it booked for the day we're flying home in the evening.
@@Ewas77 we where there for 4 hours but we had to go because whe‘ve booked a bus shuttle and had to be out at a certain time :) but 4 hours are not enought, if you want to see every little detail you have to plan for one full day or at least 6 to 7 Hours ;)
I am beyond jealous that you got to do this. It is by far one of my bucket list things I want to do so bad. Even more so after going to universal in Orlando and doing the whole theme park of Harry Potter. If you haven't done it yet, you should do the Harry Potter store in New York City in the flatiron district. It is not a really big store, but it is so worth it.

My wife brought me here for my birthday earlier on this year and i have to say, it was one of the best experiences of my life. At the end of the tour when i walk around the model of the castle, i dont know what came over me, but i felt quite overwhelmed and actually had a tear in my eye. My wife laughed at me and i felt kinda silly. Stil dont know why i did that😂

OMG! Thank you for taking us along on this amazing, magical experience. As a huge Harry Potter fan (proud Hufflepuff), this brought so much joy to me. I couldn't stop smiling from ear to ear. And at the end, when you showed the castle, I tears running down my face. Hopefully, one i will get to go and experience this for myself. Thank you again, and Happy Halloween.

I visited Harry Potter world in 2021 with my wife and 2 kids they loved it but I myself have never watched a Harry Potter movie it was a great experience nonetheless . Glad you guys enjoyed it

Omgggg walking through Privet Drive makes me feel like Harry himself! Ahhh! I’m not afraid to hide I am obsessed with Harry Potter! Omg I was so in my element with this video! This was so perfect! Fellow Slytherin here! Such perfection made me so happy waking up to this today!!! The incredible details throughout this whole set up, makes you feel as if you stepped right into Hogwarts! What pet would you and Jessica choose Michael? I’d go with snowy owl all the way as Hedwig was amazing! The interactive aspects too only adds to the amazement I have! I’m so giddy happy right now and not afraid to admit it!!! And you are right, the films were filmed out there in the wild! But this was still so heckens amazing! Ah! I can’t stop being so giddy! This weekend was a hard one for me, family drama, taking care of my father who's on hospice while also dealing with my mother falling into dementia... and this video took me away from all that for a little while.

25:06 That's a type of arachnid, called an Amblypygi, which is named for its blunt tail; it's also been mistaken as both a tailless scorpion & whip spider, but it's neither. It has no venom or silk glands for webbing so it has to quickly charge at prey to capture them with its pincers. Its bizarre look coupled with the fact that it's nocturnal works well for fantasy since it's not something people often see.

Went there a few years ago. A lot of the stuff was all new and wasn't there when I went. We was there for hours looking at stuff and taking loads of photos. The tour package we got came with a collectors program but they ran out of the paperback ones that we were supposed to get and they gave us the deluxe hardback ones instead. Definitely worth visiting whether you're a Harry Potter fan or nor.

Fun fact the scenes of Harry's parents graves and hometown was based on a village near where I live called lavenham they got inspiration from the old buildings in lavenham

I love the studio tour. I have been several times & the Dark Arts is the best time to visit as you have the Deatheaters roaming the tour. Glad you got to exerience the tour. Its a must do for Harry Potter fans.

These films are getting older and more distant in history now. Thanks for this upload!! I have really missed this culture!! I really don’t believe any set of books has brought more response from the modern world!!
