You know Jeremy, I envy all these guys walking their first steps in the networking world at the same time they enjoy each new video you release in this series. I WOULD HAVE LOVED to have had this kind of resources 16 years ago! I must confess I've never attempted to change a rack in production hours!!! EPIC!
Hollow walls are not made to support that kind of weight, regardless of what bolts you use. Play it safe and use either a piece of wood supported by double the screws, or even better as I do it, use 1x3 pieces of wood from the floor to the square piece of wood that will hold the cabinet. This way, the vertical weight is held by the wood and not the flimsy wall. Lawsuits for personal injuries are very very costly so this is the only way to be safe.
Network racks are shallow in depth, usually bolted to walls. In larger installations, full-height floor standers but still shallow. The rack at start of video is a Server rack as in it is deep enough to hold servers.
why would you mount your new 110 block sideways ?? what would be the purpose ? it would not at all be beneficial to a tech to have to add / punch down a new cable and or read the the desi strip of cable i.d. .. please explain the sideways 110 block
I think $KP3R is bullish to be honest and now stable above $250 it might reach $300-350 soon currently listed on #MXC_Exchange I am planning to buy some $KP3R when the pullbacks is coming!
