Surprisingly, some decent elevation gain on all of the islands but nothing too sustained except for the Mt. Constitution climb on Orcas. Plenty of options regarding camping on all the islands; Lopez, Shaw, San Juan, Orcas. Even a couple Islands in near proximity from the main islands to packraft to without any dangerous water crossings. bonus...Breweries and wineries on all the islands except for Shaw!

Nah brah. Sleeping bag was plenty warm. Though if there was some kind of inclement weather coupled with a tent failure… you better believe I’d be on that bathroom floor!

@@pnwbikepacking bro that was a test. You passed, don't sleep in that nasty bathroom. Only eat your food in there. 🤣

I love how bike packers do things homeless people get so much harassment for, and bike packers show someone a bike a get away with things normally they themselves would be calling the city or county on someone for doing. Two men “warming up” in public washrooms using open flames to cook and drinking alcohol is ok to me when everyone is allowed to do it. Bike packing genuinely seems like the more you embrace your inner bum, The better you will be. At bike packing anywhoo.
