Whenever shoshana covers a taylor swift song she seems to somehow uncover the essence of it and bring out the heart of the song. I love these so much.
I don't think there was much more essence or heart to uncover with this song. I don't think anyone will ever do it as well as Taylor. Shoshana's version is just SO MUCH. The simplicity of the original is what makes it so beautiful and pure. But hey, just my opinion!

Mebs controversial but I didn’t like the guitar strumming.... you’re my fave EVER THOUGH only because it was too much over shoshanas voice
It kind of reminds me of a worship song, but I LOVED the strumming pattern. It was like Taylor's country roots and Shoshana's natural inclination toward a "country" sound smashed together for a small town, summertime backyard wedding in really tall grass. LOL I am soooooooo sleepy.
Idk about this one man, feel like she did too much with it riff-wise and it took away the light essence of the original version. Also with the flubs on some of the lyrics. Love her, but this wasn’t my favorite 🤷🏻♂️
