- Here's the scoop on Zhen, the new Dragon Warrior from Kung Fu Panda 4, and why everyone's rooting for her. Zhen didn't have the easiest start in life; orphaned and raised on the streets of Juniper City, she had to learn to adapt from a young age. She briefly found shelter with Han and the Den of Thieves, but when she was asked to steal from The Chameleon, she ended up switching sides and joining forces with her. The Chameleon admired Zhen's bravery and took her under her wing, teaching her fighting skills and the tough rules of street life. Zhen was fiercely loyal to the Chameleon and even betrayed Po by delivering the Dragon Warrior's Staff of Wisdom to her. However, Zhen ultimately had a change of heart after learning from Po about the importance of positive change and doing what's right. Zhen ultimately helped Po defeat The Chameleon. Recognizing her potential, Po chose Zhen as his successor, and she began training under him, Shifu, and the Furious Five at the Jade Palace.

And I will say this again. Why would you want tai lung as DW? He is dead. He had his time along with all the villains. They respected Po at the end as they finally believed him worthy of the title.
Tigress is ok as DW but she is already strong. But she seems to lack something. As Oogway says. Po is both yin and yang being the future and the past . I know it means order and chaos. Aside from him having black and white fur like yin and yang are lol. Po was troubled and deem worthy in a way.
Zhen is literally Po. Many disagree for her being chosen. But Po had that path too. So basically Po chose Zhen like Oogway did to Po

there was a message in KFP 4 that said something about don't be afraid making new changes, DreamWorks knew well some viewers would not be delighted about the changes but they did it anyway, and I personally enjoy seeing how people react negatively about the changes because it is a mirror of themselves about how they dislike to change

In paper her arc is actually great and it could have been another deep message like in the other movies. In execution: it was very rushed and if the movie was, let's say 2 hours, it would have benefited with the longer run time to flesh out her character more.

Tai Lung would be a terrible idea because of all the people he injured or possibly killed to get the scroll. Tigresses only trained to be the dragon warrior because it was Shifu dream not hers.
Plus most of the whole plot Of Kun Fu Panda 1 was anyone can turn themselves around if the dragon warrior was picked only because they are calm talented mature martial art masters Po would have never gotten the job in the first place nor maybe would Oggway

Everyone has their ups and downs in life, some more than others. No one has the exact same life, but that doesn't mean they are or aren't worthy to be someone great. One must learn throughout life what they want to do and what they are meant to be.🙂☯️😇/😈

Po and Zhen have a lot in common, with how they were both orphaned, considered hopeless causes incapable of changing who they were, yet through hard work and finding a new family, they changed and grew into something more. However, one part I wish they'd gone more into is Tai Lung's redemption. Yes, he has it near the end, but it was rushed. I know the focus is the juxtaposition of Po and The Chameleon, with one character who earned their status through their own skill, while the other took the shortcut and cheated with magic, but imagine if after coming back and losing his kung fu, Tai Lung went to Po for help, having to relearn his own skill and perhaps a little humility, regretting his choices as a villain. I hope that they stop here; it may be the weakest of the movies, considering KFP 3 already felt like a solid ending of a trilogy. Continuing without Po as the Dragon Warrior is like having Hotel Transylvania without Genndy Tartakovsky.

I really love Zhen, such an amazing character, she cute and adorable, some of her moments are sweet, fun, so heartfelt caring for Po, don't want him get hurt and so brave when she stand up herself to defeat the Chameleon at the end.

Start of Zhen's story: either with dead parents or abandoment at the young age and the life of thievery, first with Han and then with the Chameleon VS start of Po's story: being orphaned by the genocide, adopted by goose father, starting out as a Noodle restaurant's waiter and cleaner and ending up as a legendary Dragon Warrior.

She trained all her life to become the dragon warrior when all of the sudden, Po just came out of the sky and Oogway chose him. The most suitable characters are not meant to be the Dragon Warrior as they already want it too much since they have been pursuing that goal from the beginning, a dragon warrior should not be prideful, in fact the title is given to those who didn't want it at all, for me it has less to do with making the strongest warrior and more with securing the future of the Kung Fu and inspiring future generations, to teach that Kung Fu is in everything and that even the most unlikely of beings could perform great deeds and bring about the change in the right direction. One person won't cut it, is not about the dragon warrior, is about what we can learn from the dragon warrior.
