I want to be known for helping Black women turn a skill they have, or something they uniquely know about, into a tech platform that helps them generate long-term sustainable income. I first started doing this while working for churches. I noticed there was a lot of empty rooms/land available, and turned that into an 'Airbnb style' app that helps connect people with affordable church property rentals. I've also helped former healthcare workers create apps based on their unique approach to passing their med school exams, I've built social media apps for communities that received a lot of media coverage, etc. In terms of collaborations, I recently reached out to Jewel to see if she needed any help building her tiny house land sharing app. I'm still brainstorming on other possible collaborations to help Black women build their big ideas. @@tacrewgirl Thanks, Lisa! 😊 There are so many niche skill sets, and knowledge we've developed throughout our lives, that we sometimes don't realize could be turned into super successful apps.

And being able to build software, which is still pretty niche but I hope more Black women get into it; we're so creative. I'm currently working on an online fundraising tool - like Go F*nd Me, but fun and gamified. I'm on LinkedIn a bit, and might start posting on YT one of these days 😊

This video is right on time. I am a health on paper and would like to take it from paper to reality. I had a dry skin problem and have created a solution to this problem and would like share it with black and brown people. I believe that collaboration is the key and will definitely be making the steps to get there.
One of the things I want to be known for is a ‘slow traveler’. It is a blessing to even be able to do it and it takes all sorts of life skills to pull it off. If I can share what I’m currently learning with others that would be great.
