After Zoe stayed behind at the pier where Ethan and Mia left her, she is calcified by Eveline in retaliation for letting them escape but survives. Ethan calls for help for Zoe, and Umbrella Corporation comes to her aid. She is trapped in a crystal shape and is found by Joe, her uncle, and brother of Jack. He knocks out the soldiers and brings one to his house along with Zoe. The soldier gives the location of the cure. Joe gets the cure for E-type infection but, as it isn't a full dose, it doesn't work. The soldier informs Joe where a full dose could be and pleads to allow him to lead them there, but the "Swamp Man" burns the house down and kills the soldier. Joe and Zoe travel away on a boat to search for the cure.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. The game is slated for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the PlayStation 4 version having support for the PlayStation VR headset. It will be the twenty seventh entry into the Resident Evil series, and the first main series installment to be played from a first-person perspective. It will be released worldwide in January 2017.
The game is set in 2017, approximately 4 years after the events of Resident Evil 6 in the fictional city of Dulvey, Louisiana. It features a new protagonist named Ethan Winters, a civilian who offers fewer combat skills than most previous Resident Evil protagonists. Ethan is searching for his missing wife, Mia, which leads him to a derelict plantation mansion, home of the Baker family. The game starts with a series of video's from Ethan Winters' late wife Mia. The videos range from pleasant exchanges turning toward dark sinister warnings. The final video, reveals that Mia is in fact very much alive and was presumed dead three years ago. Mia actively pleads with her husband that she is sorry for her lies and that he must "stay away". Ethan, naturally ignores the warning and travels to Louisiana. This eventually leads him to the heart of the backwater of Louisiana to a large planation owned by the mysterious Baker family.

+Kimiii ii I think we all know he's Jack's brother, and Zoe is Jack's daughter. You have to remember that the Bakers weren't bad people. They were a family of innocent people who ended up helping the wrong girl, and went through hell in a hand basket because of her. Not even Evline was that bad of a being. She was simply an experiment in the form of a little girl, who wanted a family, and yet she didn't have the mental compacity to act humanely because she was created and raised in a lab her entire life.
You are aware he's responsible for the deaths of two as far as we know innocent soldiers, and even by the end of this senario when he discovered they weren't responsible for what happen to Zoe he showed zero remorse or guilt for causing there deaths.
I just put this together. His name is Joe and his fighting style is obviously boxing. Joe Boxer. My God.....
It was the pair of Joe Boxers Joe was wearing that made him partially invincible. He still has to watch out for those gators.

Hoffman should've believed in the heart of the cards more? Jokes aside we don't get too see what the other victims went through so it's hard to say who had it worse but from what we all saw, Clancy went through a bunch of bs and so did Ethan but Rip Hoffman for being a stepping stone for Clancy to survive I guess..?;;
it does kinda suck that he had to survive a bunch of ordeals just to get caught and get killed in the end, but it is the m.o of lucas, to think you succeeded only to get effed up.

I liked this ending! I don't know if I missed something important when I chose to save Zoe with the vaccine instead of Mia. I already saw the other ending, the real one when Mia made it.
There are several theories that say that Ethan works for Umbrella because people say that his name appears on one of the files you read in Resident Evil 5. The Spencer's notebook. You can read the name Ethan W. and he is supposed to be dead. But here in RE7, it is curious how Ethan tell to the men who saved him at the end why they took too long to arrive... Like if he knew them, and now in this ending shows how Ethan sent these guys to save Zoe. I find it very interesting.
