Justin Yglesias I was gonna say this, day cab, plus doing this atleast once a day...I drive a sleeper, for Swift on a target deticated account, and the one store I went to twice a week had to be blind sided. Not as tight as this but it was difficult, well the first time I did it, I used my GOAL a handful of times, and pull ups. after 3 weeks (about 6 times or more) of doing it, I was able to get the trailer in first shot in about the same time this guy did. The type of truck doesn't matter so much as the repetition of going to the same place. If this guy had a whole new setup of blind side, he wouldn't do it this fast, but he would probably be better than a sleeper.
One shot backing god level!.. wow! I don't care if it is a daycab that is hard to do even harder on a blind side. Respect 4 the driver, impressive skills.
Yea I’ve seen a couple people in day cabs do this. It’s particularly easy for them because they can look through their back window. .. something sleepers don’t have
blindsiding in a day cab isnt nearly as difficult as in a sleeper truck, but it's still more tricky than sight siding. you can see out your back window, but only when you're turning sharp enough for the front corner of the trailer to quick blocking your view. so when you're approaching the dock at the beginning of your back, you're still not able to see where you're turning until you start to crank it...and of course if you crank it too early or late, you have to start over.
Now thats wassup! U have TRUE skills at trucking. I usually CREEP and inch my way blindside backing, but U backed in there so fast, that if I looked away, I would've missed the whole thing lol. Outstanding backing skills
In my youth learning how to drive a truck and trailer from an hand 20 year's my senior all of it driving a truck. Taught me the only difference in blind siding vs driver siding is the distance between the view from the driver's mirror and the distance to the passenger side mirror; IF and WHEN one has learned how to set up for either. Which when done correctly in either direction is performed the same exact way.
People on here hating because the truck is a daycab, I bet money they don't know how to backup a car. Daycab or sleeper, the dude has some good backing up skills, and I bet money he can do this with his eyes close with a sleeper. His a truck driver after all
everybody talking shit because its a daycab. its not a whole lot different in a sleeper, IF you know how to drive. he wouldve had to make the cut sooner, that is really about it. so all you "drivers" talking shit, probably need to learn some skills before running them chops
Wow. And here I am struggling to back up on the “blindside” of a school bus, guess it’s not really blind when you have windows alongside the bus but you get the point 😂
I've been driving a daycab for 2 years now. As long as you put yourself in the right setup it's not blindsiding because if you're set up right you can see where your trailer is after a certain point if you have the angle right. You know what to do at that moment.
Come on, that's not a blind side back. In a blind side back, you can't see, hence BLIND side. He can see out that back window. He DID do a good job though, better and quicker than I can do, but blind side it is NOT.
Dammm man!!! I wish I had time on my down time to practice blindside backing... but I don’t usually want to cause a scene anywhere I go and the places I visit are usually busy, especially truck stops. I don’t know where I even would! I’ll admit my blindside needs work I get out multiple times just so I make sure I don’t hit the trailer next to me!! But dam man I’ll say it again ! Skills!! And most likely routine, but either way that is still skills!!
WHAT DOES THIS DIVER KNOW THAT MOST DRIVERS DON'T...................HE DID THIS QUICKER ON THE BLIND SIDE THAN MOST DO ON THE SIGHT SIDE..............I SEE HE HAS A DAY CAB BUT STILL...........ON THE BLIND SIDE, THAT IS AMAZING...........IT HAS TO BE THAT YOU EITHER ''HAVE IT OR YOU DON'T''..............I DON'T THINK THAT IS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE TAUGHT...........BESIDES BEING ALMOST UNBELIEVABLE,,,,,,,,,,,,,IT WAS A TRUE PLEASURE TO WATCH.............HOW MANY YRS. HAVE YOU BEEN DRIVING,,,,,,,,,,,I WAS A HEAVY DUTY TRUCK MECHANIC FOR 30 YEARS AND I ONLY KNOW OF ONE OR TWO DRIVERS THAT COULD MATCH THAT BACK UP PERFORMANCE.............CONGRATULATIONS, A BEAUTIFUL THING TO WATCH.................
You’ll know when you’ve done something when other drivers applaud & give you the thumbs up . Not me , but I’ve seen it once in the garment district of Manhattan.
he probably has the same stop/route everyday
Justin Yglesias I was gonna say this, day cab, plus doing this atleast once a day...I drive a sleeper, for Swift on a target deticated account, and the one store I went to twice a week had to be blind sided. Justin Gonzales i was going to say that. He knows exactly what to do.
u probably comment on videos in your moms basement
Yup practice practice practice
You're right. Day cab drivers usually do.
One shot backing god level!.. wow! I don't care if it is a daycab that is hard to do even harder on a blind side. Respect 4 the driver, impressive skills.
That was nothing to be impressed with. Anyone with a day cab can do the same exact thing.
Yea I’ve seen a couple people in day cabs do this.
It’s particularly easy for them because they can look through their back window. .. something sleepers don’t have
@@wetspotswimwear1199let’s see your video.
One shot.. because the camera was turned on after a few try’s lol
Wayyyyy easier in that day cab tho cause of the back window
Exactly what i was going to say and its more space but good job anyway
Still hard asf
The hard thing to do is not hit whit the tail of the trailer anything on the other side
Day cab
@@bayview94124 night cab
Them local boys are the best at docking hands down!
Thanks
It's usually because we have to do it 15 times a day lol. When I was OTR I did it like once every day or so. Excluding truck stops.
This is true
not bad now try that in a sleeper lol
Tony Baily
viejo es una mulilla ese camion q tiene de complicado para estacionar
I tried in a sleeper today and man dock wasnt made for a 53ft trailer . Crooked but good enougj to get unloaded
Same thing I was going to say
I once had a tight spot like that. Insurance had to pay for 2 new trailers: mine and the one next to my dock.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
lmao
Lmao
I know the feeling.
😂😂
Nice job. There is MUCH experience on display -and probably much experience at this same dock.
day cab or not that's some good skills driver, I drive a day cab hauln a container and id have to pullup atleast 2 times lol
regardless it is a day cab or not,he did very terrific.
Day cab or sleeper the fact is the fact ! driver can back up
blindsiding in a day cab isnt nearly as difficult as in a sleeper truck, but it's still more tricky than sight siding. you can see out your back window, but only when you're turning sharp enough for the front corner of the trailer to quick blocking your view. so when you're approaching the dock at the beginning of your back, you're still not able to see where you're turning until you start to crank it...and of course if you crank it too early or late, you have to start over.
No. It is 1,000x easier to blindside with a day cab. Even a rookie could do this exactly the same
Now thats wassup! U have TRUE skills at trucking. I usually CREEP and inch my way blindside backing, but U backed in there so fast, that if I looked away, I would've missed the whole thing lol. Outstanding backing skills
I has your blindside backing gotten any better? I always had problems with that in tight spaces.
How does he know he didn’t just tear the shit out of the other trailer? That’s some blind faith right there
He must be doing this everyday..
YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT,,,,,,,,,,,PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT..........IT'S THE ONLY WAY AND IT TAKES TIME TOO.......
First time, he nailed it. Great job, rookie.
Day cab, able to look out the back window. How bout with a 70 inch sleeper & 270 wheelbase.
Amen Brother Amen!
Can do tho
Ehhh it’s on his blind side tho not much help either
In my youth learning how to drive a truck and trailer from an hand 20 year's my senior all of it driving a truck. He definitely knows that sweet spot. Unbelievable
Awesome buddy that 👍 was a nice blindside back up
That’s why I love driving my day cab pulling my flatbed trailer, no Blindspot whatsoever
Just got on a new route yesterday with a dock similar to this one. Definitely taking notes.
That guy delivers there everyday.
You left me speechless 😶 bravo 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
No painted lines either.
Even if it's a regular stop still some mad skill right there !
People on here hating because the truck is a daycab, I bet money they don't know how to backup a car. Daycab or sleeper, the dude has some good backing up skills, and I bet money he can do this with his eyes close with a sleeper. His a truck driver after all
He goes there everyday and has done it many times..
Whatever the truck, dude has skills
Day cab flex is like an automatic flexing on a stick shift 🙃
Plot twist... He actually recorded himself pulling out of the dock and then played the video backwards.
You got skills! Great Job
And some people would say what we do is not a skilled profession
everybody talking shit because its a daycab. its not a whole lot different in a sleeper, IF you know how to drive. he wouldve had to make the cut sooner, that is really about it. so all you "drivers" talking shit, probably need to learn some skills before running them chops
Hoosier Dad you sure can talk the talk, now post a video super trucker!
Day cab made that easy, in a sleeper/highway truck not so much
+FirebirdCamaro1220 He still did good tho.
Super trucker spotted
No sleeper cab helps visibility, yet a masterful 90 degree blindsided backing.
That back window saves your ass every time
Nicely done driver.
All the haters probably couldn't do it even in a day cab
That back window was no help in that instance that operator has experience. It's all about the approach he set himself up to get it done
Same thing I said.
Correct
Que bien haces tú trabajo felicidades dios te ayude así siempre
I would be like wow if he was driving a sleeper.
Wawa very nice
I was like HELL NAH, This video is in reverse!! lol... Respect!! awesome job !! I would've had to get out and look 12 times lol
Perfect!
Wow. And here I am struggling to back up on the “blindside” of a school bus, guess it’s not really blind when you have windows alongside the bus but you get the point 😂

And I'm sure that driver has done that same maneuver at that same place a number of times.
In a twin screw no less. Nice job driver
Well done.
good job on blind side backing
Damn, that quick 🙏🙏
Are you serious 🤣🤣🤣 ? In a day cab ? “Yeah okay “way to go driver 🤣🤣
Amazing.
Better than I ever was.
Very impressive
Come on, that's not a blind side back. In a blind side back, you can't see, hence BLIND side. He can see out that back window. He DID do a good job though, better and quicker than I can do, but blind side it is NOT.
You're right, he has a perfect view of the front of his trailer.
Larkin Huey you’re about as dumb as they get. Hope I don’t meet you out there on the road.
Impressive
Nice skills dude
Savage!🙌🏾
Outstanding
Dammm man!!! I wish I had time on my down time to practice blindside backing... but I don’t usually want to cause a scene anywhere I go and the places I visit are usually busy, especially truck stops. And most likely routine, but either way that is still skills!!
Gave her the ole' razzle dazzle
omg!!! that was sick!!! I have some practicing to do....
It's easier to do a blind side with a day cab than a sleeper. Still did well though.
Impressive but try that with a rig sleeper where you don’t got a back window to rely on.
Masterful
Day cab. Big f’ing deal!
Wow . Looks like years of experience and muscle memory . Hats off tho man you made it look easy . Lol
That was me the first time driving... a 5 tonne lol! I want my Class 1 but I don't really want to pay for it.
Thats like WAY good !
I bet that's the thousandth time he's done that exact back😂😎💪
Like a boss!
Show !!!! Muito bom.
Dude just went through a wall!!!!
Amazing
It's easier to blind side with a day cab than the regular way. I preferred to do it that way
That was awesome
He’s probably been backing his truck in that spot 2-3 times a day, every day for the last 15 years.
bine, chiar foarte bine :)
I must get this good. If it can be done in one shot, you should do it in one shot
THINKING LIKE THAT WILL MAKE YOU THAT GOOD................
Haha!!! You’re in a DAYCAB!!! That’s the same as backing from the drivers side. Let’s see you do that with a sleeper truck! Lol
Good job man
Respect 👌🏻✊🏾✌🏾
Is it your first time there?..nice work!!!
wow, backing level 9999
His first day on the job as well!
I know a dedicated route when I see one
Mad skills. Always get out and look though. Pride isn't worth the claim but mad props.
Blindside is easier in a daycab. He still did a great job dont forget he was limited by the wall on his left.
State?
You’ll know when you’ve done something when other drivers applaud & give you the thumbs up . Not me , but I’ve seen it once in the garment district of Manhattan.
Still impressive actually.
Now that's a driver! Would've took me at least 5 pull-ups to do that
City daycab drivers do this all day everyday.....😴
Yay!!! A pro.
WOW! I'd like to do that!
This must be his normal route noway but awesome
They’ve done that a time or two, still impressive though.
He on xgames mode
Good job. I would say the driver has done that once or twice.
First time?
