Remembering my travel to Cape town south Africa for the first time through Ethiopian airlines in year 2018 October it was a really great experience. I am certainly thankful to Ethiopian airlines.

According to the IMF, Ethiopia has one of the highest growing GDPs in 2019 (Top 5) and has consistently maintained that position of fast economic growth in the past 5 or so years. Ethiopia is quickly industrialising and becoming both global and regional trading hub. They quickly developed the energy sector starting with Hydroelectric power, geothermal power and now oil and gas which is currently being produced. In the coming years, Ethiopia could start supplying energy to neighbouring countries and those far beyond. Industries such as textile and automotive are booming in Ethiopia which has attracted major car manufacturers to move to Ethiopia, the most recent car manufacturer to announce building car assembly plant in Ethiopia is Volkswagen.
Travel using Ethiopian frequently myself.... i love the extremely young and modern fleet Ethiopian offers and the staff is very kind! Food is also decent.. Overall a quality flagship carrier

But frankly speaking I went to Addis Ababa from Mumbai . Their service was really cool throughout the flight .It is really very nice to see them competing against the top airlines in the world. It may not be the best but really one of the tough competitor in todays aviation world . In Africa this airline compete against Air Mauritius , Egypt Air , South African Airways . Nice to watch them compete ... Really worth watching them ...... Please keep this spirit up. Thanks !!!!!!
My first flight on Ethiopian Airlines was in 1963 they had two Boeing 720B Jets! TWA provided the support! We flew from Rome to Asmara Eritrea then Federated with Ethiopia! Even then they were more attentive than other airlines I have flown! Flew from Asmara to Aksum on a DC-4 an adventure that same year! Still in great condition for being built in 1952. Flying not on the best airfields! That’s what the manufactures plate had on it! They still have their act together and the people make them a great company! Now they are a world leading Airline and have a proud history!

Oh yeah; you don't have to worry about the food being bad, or seats, legroom, or really any generic flight problems. Hope you have a great flight!
The only thing that was better than watching that beautiful A350 pulling into the gate was the boarding music 😂! It’s also great that they served two hot meals on a 7 hour flight.

Is this a joke.or just eth build up knowing somebody was on board . I have personally flown eth many times some flights in bus class many in economy . Even if eth are doing a good job it remains a sub par airline . The service provided in bole airport is beside any acceptable level . The in flight entertainment is below average compared to many airlines . Eth bus service is rediculous useless
I took a 8 hour flight from Toronto to Lisbon Portugal we had to pay to watch tv and there were barley any movies and for food it was 40 bucks! All they had for food was a pizza witch was not even well cooked
Ethiopian was amazing to fly last summer! I was amazed that I got 4 meals on two 7 hour flights!! I also had the same chicken meal! It was amazing!! I will fly with them next year as I head back to Africa next summer! I would love to share pictures with you!

I do appreciate their 3-3-3 777s. It is a treat and a treasure among those tighter and tighter configurations. That, along with major focus (4 daily in mainland +1 nonstop HKG) in Chinese market has prompted their status as the gateway to Africa.

It was actually last week 12/13 of May..... although I have had 4 flights with Ethiopian in the past 14 months most have been v good.... but need hot towels for hygiene.... also no spirits onboard on the odd occasion one may feel like on long flight to Lhr.....
