- This video is a detailed travel guide of our 4D/5N Delhi to Chopta, Tungnath trip. Here, we explained how we explored Tungnath Temple, Chandrashila Peak and Deoriatal Lake in just Rs. 3500. It includes travel costs, hotels costs, food costs and a few travel tips.
We started our journey from Delhi:
Day 0: Reached Haridwar
Day 1: Reached Chopta (Himalayan Resort)
Day 2: Chopta to Tungnath Trek.
Day 3: Deoriatal Lake Trek
Day 4: Back to Haridwar and then to Delhi.

What is the weather condition in October ? Is this favourable ?
you won't witness snowfall at all but you may feel cold quite a bit in the morning. it was our experience so weather could be different as it depends on many other factors.
Is it possible to trek down from Tunganath/Chopta to Deoria tal via Rohini Bugyal? I heard usualy people trek up from Deoria to Chandrashila, I was wondering if the other way is possible.
Yes I think it is possible in summers but not in winters.

You can't stay at the top but yes you can stay in chopta, ukimath in your own tent.

optimally it's not the best way to cover places that are supposed to be covered in at least 4 days. covering the places might ruin your expectations. with all the combinatorics, yes it's possible to cover those places in 3 days. I hope this helps.🙂

Google par location aa jaygi. Bus service bhi sahi hai....haidwar se buses jyada chalti hai isiliye wo better rehta hai

Yes you can if you hire a private taxi. I was talking about shared ones.

yes!! Durgesh ji, you can grab a cab in any hour of the day but it's our suggestion you don't delay booking after 12 or 1pm as 5 to 6 hour long journey might end up in the night and that's not the safe side. I hope this helps. thank you🙂

Winter clothes will be needed in March. The complete trek will be snow covered.

Yes, prices are bit high due to covid but it won't be 13k per person.... It will be around 5-6k/person if you travel in budget

what is the bus timings from rishikesh to ukhimath ? (government bus)
Rudraprayag tak jaati hai....joshimath wali buses morning me leave karti hai haridwar se 5-7 AM(govt. as well as private buses). Uske aage shared cabs jati hai
