The temple complex has changed a lot since my last solo visit from 2016. The Railings, The Shed & Shelters, Proper stair cases, Solar panel are all new additions ...

@@avnigupta6671 yes but it heavily snows there in in Dec Jan-Feb. You will need proper shoes to do this trek. Without any guide you can do it till the temple. Trek from temple to Chandrashila top is not easy in winters. There are companies like Trek The Himalayas which conduct the treks to chopta, tungnath and chandrashila.
Personally I would recommend visiting this place between 15 April to 15 May when the Rhododendron flowers bloom and Chopta looks like a Garden.

We had been there 2 weeks ago from Haridwar, the roads are pretty bad because of road expansion. If you are travelling for snow you might only see it on tungnath peak which is a 4 hours treck. You need good strength . If you are visiting for snow then reconsider

Bro awesome video. I had the pleasure of visiting Chopta and Tungnath last year. The Google map distance between Ukhimath and Chopta was wrong. It had shown Chopta village ... And that was like 200+ kms away from the Chopta Tungnath temple... I don't know if it has been updated. Awesome video ❤️

Yes is available, you can hire a Mahindra bolero or Tata sumo from taxi stand.

Me and my frnds are planning to visit chopta around 24th Dec . Should we pre-book the hotels/stay in chopta , or are they easily available. Can we get the stays for Rs 500-600 for one room in that time as well ?

@@rupalimohanty5225 me last year 24-25 dec me gya tha Chopta . Jab acchi Snow thi vahan pe . Matlab bahut jada bhi nhi thi. Bilkul perfect type ki thi. And 25 ko hamne trekking kari thi. Trek me uppar pahuch k live snowfall mili thi.
