MB Gordy (short): How do composers benefit from working with percussionists? [2023]

MB Gordy is one of the most active session percussionists in Los Angeles, playing in films, video games, and TV. He’s worked with composers such as Harry Gregson Williams, Marco Beltrami, Chris Beck, John Powell, and John Williams. He works with the music team as a musician but also in the capacity of percussion scoring. He brings specialties in world music, drum set, and orchestral percussion.
