I did an injector on a Citroen DV6 today. Made the schoolboy error of thinking No1 was cambelt end 😂 forgot these French motors have no1 at the flywheel end. Oh well luckily they came out easy 😂😂 all these years in the trade and still easy to make a simple error lol.
Baz my mate got a vauxhall zafira diesel was the same as that Peugeot would not start he thought it was the fuel sender unit but in the end it was the Egr valve he got it replaced runs ok
Hi baz, im loving the channel. quick question have you done any work on a volvo d4 egr valve?im only asking as im sure mine is rattling when cold but ive no warning lights up all so im a bit confused.can the motor wear on them?

Hi, another classic video. You, Salvage rebuilds UK and Jimmy from O’rileys autos are the best on RUclips. May I ask, the clicking heard when you did a close up of the old EGR, was that it’s motor trying to actuate the valve but couldn’t? Cheers
Hiya no the rattle only happens when its just started from 800rpm to around 1300rpm then it goes away.both egr and cooler are clean.i think it might be the egr motor because when the egr is unplugged the noise gets noticeably quieter.the egr is all i can think of.I’ve checked that vacuum is holding pressure and thats ok.

Not had many problems with them rattling buddy, there not much of a job to remove anyway to check it
