I couldn't get past the third phase even on normal, at one point as I saw the claw spawning beneath me while I also had to play tennis with the boss my brain shut down and refused to give it any more energy. Congrats, I thought this was basically impossible but you proved me wrong, this is incredible. Apparently I'm just either too old or too lazy.
@@ragnarokangaroo I see, but if the default is 4:3 does that mean that is how it was intentionally made? Wouldn't that make it look weird in widescreen kind of like how all those 90s shows look really weird and inauthentic when they're stretched out to widescreen on various streaming services?

It is a hard fight but it's quite forgiving.
Which version are you playing? Because My Steam version is without widescreen, and this is not the new currently jp only Switch remaster.
If you launch the config menu you can change the resolution

Wow I just beat the game yesterday in hard. I didnt know you could attack the hand while it is absorbing. Could have saved a lot of time.
