I'm am about to head out west in a couple of weeks to see some of the west coast caves. I've seen so much of them from these videos already but nothing like squeezing through myself!
I watch all of your videos and i get panicky just watching. I am severly claustrophobic but love watching the crazy things you do. 2 things id ask. 1 is do you enjoy the tighter squeezes or prefer more room? And second, i would love to hear your thoughts on different situations of cavers in trouble. Such as nutty putty, etc. Stay safe and be careful of the areas you squeeze through especially with tour gigantic balls!
I like the squeezes, but they have a point... We're looking for bigger cave. We have a documentary video on the nutty putty incident on our main channel. I think the title is "why everyone is wrong about dying in a cave."
There really isn't many animals in these caves. It's cold and dark. Some big pits will have large salamanders. Lots of bats of course. But that's about it. Even the bears hate these caves, it's too cold. The Bear is not your enemy. The snake is not your enemy... the freezing cold is your enemy.
Neither, and I have been sworn to secrecy not to disclose its location. But I think there was a total of 27 leaks, which we spent quite a bit of time fixing. This one took a long time because someone had to hand me tools through a hole in the floor... and I had to make the repair laying in a pool of water. But if not me then who!?

These caves are located on the slopes of a volcano. As I sit here on july 10th, it is still completely covered in snow.
