Completely missed Miami Hurricanes 2000!! Dan Morgan, Johnathan Vilma, D.J. Williams, all first round picks as well as Chris Campbell who was a fantastic player and was projected as an early to mid round pick but tragically passed away in an accident his senior year before the draft.
Maybe only 1 per team..the year they did pick miami was the best! You couldn't run or throw on those guys and other than Morgan's concussions they all had long NFL careers
Thats right Penn st had several
Exactly
💯
Actually that whole damn team was 🔥
First of all, great work. I’m just disappointed Illinois 94 with Kevin Hardy, Dana Howard, Simeon Rice need to be on this list.
UCLA Erick Kendrick’s, Myles Jack, and Anthony Barr😎
If you used USC 2007 you could have the same 2008 LBs and add Keith Rivers and Malcolm Smith.
1990 Colorado Buffaloes: Chad Brown, Greg Biekert, Kanavis McGhee, Alfred Williams. National Champions.
didnt they have teddy johnson too?
@@FTW54 Yes they did!!
Damn i didn’t know Virginia had that type of talent at Lb at that time. Out of anyone on that list those 3 had the best pro career. I am shocked they only finished 7-5 that season
I believe Tiki and Ronde Barber were on that team also, along with a great safety Anthony Poindexter who got hurt.
I miss linebackers wearing the big shoulder pads with neck rolls/ cowboy collars and the full facemasks!!!
Back in the 90s and early 2000s, linebackers aimed to knock you out!
Today's "linebackers" are not linebackers. They're just bigger corners.
How do you not have 2002 Miami with Jonathan Vilma, DJ Williams, and Hoawrd Clark
Ohio State 2005
•AJ HAWK (1st rd)
•BOBBY CARPENTER (1st rd)
•MARCUS FREEMAN (3rd rd)
•ANTHONY SCHLEGAL (5th rd)
97 trxas a&m Illinois 94
Stonebreaker, Stams, Bolcar and Pritchett -ND 1988 were better than ND 1996 listed here. Oh yeah, also NTL champs
1980 Pitt Hugh Green Ricky Jackson. College Hall of Famer, NFL Hall of Famer
Smith, Barrow and Armstead were the best ever.
2008 Gators. Major Wright, Ahmad Black, Brandon Spikes. Damn good team
linebackers bud
@user-vs3nt8ch2q the joys of not reading all the way lol I swear I read defenses lol
Nope! Bobby Carpenter, AJ Hawk, Anthony Schlegel from Ohio State.
I loved those guys on ncaa back in the day
Respect the grind I'ma sub
You got it 💯, on #1 USC💪🏽
They left out the best one of all time. Alabama with Cornilius Bennet and Derek Thomas. dont know who the 3rd one was. it doesn't matter those 2 were monsters!!
92 FSU squad was better than 94 FSU squad.... Marvin Jones finished 4th in the Heisman Voting. Come on man. Derrick Brooks was still a dog then even tho he was young. Cowart was on that team too... along with Ken Alexnader who was a steady performer and Todd Rebol.
Great content
PennStates 1986! 1999 ! 2005 ! 2006 ! 2007! 2009!
This list is ridiculous... UGA's '21 D had Nakobe Dean (butkis award winner, 2nd rnd pick), Quay Walker ( 1st rnd pick), Nolan Smith (1st rnd pick), Channing Tindall (3rd rnd pick), Adam Anderson (woulda been 1st rnd pick but got kicked off team) & could even include Travon Walker who played Sam LB at times & was #1 overall pick! Just for reference UGA '21 D also had 4 1st rnd picks on DL as well!
NO TEXAS A&M
Texas A&M 87' was ridiculous
Dream on, Aggie
Physical SC
this list is butt cheeks.
List is BS
More fuel for the tank.
USC was insanely good. 🏈🏈
Alabama 1988 though
Derrick Thomas and Keith McCants!!
@@cliffordrose4335 and Cornelius Bennet
Terrible. How do you not have Ohio state from the early 2000’s ?
#2 should be 2001 hurricanes jon vilma, dj williams, chris campbell. Im pretty sure ed reed and sean taylor we're playing weakside though.
True, but ur not stopping the 91 hurricanes, they were more crazier, and won more national championships together
1993 Ole Miss Dewayne Dotson,Abdul Jackson,Cassius Ware. Led nation in total defense.
Could have been a lot more on the list like Ohio State in 2005 with Hawk and Carpenter. Miami's 2001 group was awesome. That entire team was awesome.
If the NIL was a thing in 2001 Miami would have been worth 50 million dollars.
@@jamesfields2916 true that. Who knew then how far down Miami would come, also. FSU, too, for that matter
@@bradtaylor4765 When was the last time you got pumped for FSU vs Miami or FSU at Florida? For 20 years those game must see games when all three teams were perennial contenders.
@@jamesfields2916 it’s been a few years since any of their games mattered. My son in law is a FSU fan, but I don’t have a dog in any of those fights.
@@bradtaylor4765 neither do I.
