I would say that putting in your measurements and making yourself a sweater in a video game and getting it sent to you for a decent price is a fairly good concept.

I think the reason behind the floating head in Mario Teaches Typing 2 is to bring about the charm experienced by being greeted by Mario’s head in Super Mario 64.

My favorite Mario-related educational tool isn't a video game, but the extremely rare Mario Quiz Cards. They're a box of flash cards with multiple-choice questions on a variety of subjects, with Mario clip art modified to fit the question. The art on the cards ranges from funny (Mario chasing a Goomba carrying moonshine), to strange (Muslim Mario praying to Allah) to disturbing (Luigi reading a book about Hitler and looking upset). They're definitely worth owning if you can find a box.
