Thank you Michael Thompson, I do not play a musical instrument of any kind but watched the whole 1hr 11minutes of your presentation with great interest. A fantastic background to understanding the skill of Horn playing. Michael Parkinson

Gradually working my way through this video, very absorbing and well explained. I myself have hundreds of videos like this on clarinet. I totally agree on your explanation of breathing and that 'using the diaphragm' is a misnomer that causes a lot of problems along the way. For a professional player of such high esteem as yourself to take the time to make this video is to be much applauded.

I'm sitting here with your dad who's proudly showing me your accomplishments online. We live next door to Margaret. Fantastic video.

Stopping becomes fairly imperative on natural horn doesn't it? I remember seeing you play a Beethoven sonata on your lovely instrument and I believe Mozart used it to great effect in your lovely recording of the Mozart Quintet (which Also has Tony Pay on clarinet)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more patronizing delivery of any lecture on any topic in my multiple decades on this Earth. Did you have to work at it to do that or did it come naturally?

You should be careful playing happy birthday so you don't have to pay royalties.
