I live in Northern Nevada, and when it snows we get idiots who still feel the need to drive 50 MPH, when its icy and snowing, idiots think 4x4 means you won't slip

Connecticut living here in Minnesota; video doesn’t even really look that cold as we truly know it can get. It’s the “whiteout” conditions that not even the native dwellers want to be caught in out on the roads. There are whiteout conditions so sever that you literally cannot discern or make out the ground from the sky above and everything in between. Just complete white or the inverse of pitch blackness -in conditions where you couldn’t see beyond the hood of your vehicle.

It is terrifying. You can’t pull over because you can’t see where the side of the road is. You tell yourself you’ll pull into the next parking lot then realize you’ve past it.
It’s like a thunderstorm; brief, but oh so horrifying to drive in.
And they can appear out of nowhere

It was snowing here earlier . Only 2-3 hrs, then it melted away. But I got to see it at least. And saw some individual snowflakes❄❄. It just got me. 30 yrs since I've seen real snow. Know it's going to be rough, but for now... I'm going to enjoy it😮😱💦💫🍃❄⛄🌌🌌
