Had the opportunity to ride Travis Sawyers Custom 2014 KX500 AF build! Travis builds some of the best one off builds I've ever seen. DAMN, Aj Waggoner and Tom Morgan built the best Sounding KX500af I have ever heard. It sounded real crisp and clean. Not, just that but it was the Fast3st KX500af I ever seen on video. This was a great Video. 👍

My KX 500 was my favorite dirt bike. Nice to see a modernized version on the track! Looks like the rider is having a blast on the jumps!
I still have my old 2003 kx, but I like the idea of the newer chassis. Totally badass man!

I have owned both KX500 and CR500. I built myself a CR500AF, which I have now. However, the KX500 is a way better engine than the CR500 engine is. The KX engine will rev out like a 250. It just screams. The CR500 engine doesnt have the topend RPM like the KX has. BUT, there are just a lot more available engines/parts floating around for the CR500 than the KX500 engine.

Thanks man! Well the truth will be told when we compare the Kx AF to the cr AF. Hard to compare the 20+ year tech advance on the old dogs!
Do the flex bars help with the vibration?
Yeah a lot actually
Careful attention to microbalancing and truing the crank can also pretty much eliminate it. But even in stock form, it really isnt that bad.

It warms the rubber grippy pads one the gloves and makes them tackier for a better grip.

I also was able to tell if I maybe mixed the gas too rich . There’s a few reasons people do it . For me it was to make sure the bike was warmed up and that I didn’t have weird jetting issues or rich oil .
