Back again with more Phoenix Wright music! I've always loved how gentle this theme is; it really sells the façade Dahlia presents. The sudden triplet feel during the B section in particular is both fun to play and to listen to.

Her theme on piano sounds a little bit tragic... Like a "what if I was raised by a good mother and father?" feeling.
I feel pity for Dahlia, yes, she's a demon, she can't be reasoned with, but when Iris told us she had the worst family, then it's a little bit understandable why she was the way she was, she never knew what true love is supposed to be, which gives me some sense of tragedy about this theme.

Well put! I do agree there's an argument to be made in regards to nature vs nurture. It's interesting to see how different she and Iris turned out as a result.

@@PaperCoelacanth I agree, this theme seems to be tragic. Like what led her to become monster like this? Would Dahlia be a "demon" if she grew up with Iris in a temple? I believe Dahlia had serious mental issues that weren't resolved due to nobody caring, which led her to be a psychopathic murderer

Dahlia Hawthornes theme is tricky. It goes with her facade, and you have to incorporate the sweet, relaxing, beautiful facade she has. But, you also have to add that sinister tone in the background, because that’s her.
I think you did it perfectly ❤️

I totally agree, Dahlia's theme walks this fine line between gentle and subtly menacing. Her theme is definitely one of my favorites for that reason, and I'm so glad to hear I was able to capture that!
