Honestly I would argue it's worth throwing another $200 or so at the PC hardware is a fair comparison... but remember, you are paying up front on a PC... that console will charge you that extra cash over time in the form of online fees. $10 a month minimum adds up.
I agree, I think around $750 would get you a PC pretty close but that's starting from zero and there is an upfront cost. But going forward you can reuse the case, power supply, storage drives, etc.

Glad i made the move, shouldve done it sooner.
As a lifelong console player who just recently got my first PC capable of gaming the #1 reason for PC Gaming is MODS!!! The amount of cool stuff available for games like GTA, RDR2 and many many others makes it worth getting a PC alone. I didn't realize how much I was missing out on until I found out about 5M, LSPDFR and other mods that just makes games more fun especially after you've played them for awhile. The mods in some cases make it like having completely new games.
Had a series x for a little while and by all means if you are strictly about gaming only its unlikely to build a pc around the same price to performance especially since you can find used consoles for less than 300 bucks now. However after building my pc I see the almost limitless bounds that you can do with one. Ryzen 5 5600 with rx6800 i have no issues playing any game at or above console settings as well as the crazy amount of other things i can do as well. Its an investment overall.
I tried reading the comments, but there were a bunch on inaccuracies. If the point of this video is to honestly compare and not just try to trash consoles, then these things need to be addressed. 1. Free 2 Play titles do not need a subscription to play. If you only play Esports titles, then the console is a very attractive place to play. 2. Most titles (including the ones in this video) have optimization options for performance over graphics (just like pc, although capped at 120). There are a lot of games locked to 30fps on the console (this PC could not play) that a higher end PC could run at 60 or 120 fps. 3. There is an FPS counter in the Fornite settings (not sure about Warzone). 4. Game pass core (replaced Xbox Live Gold) is $10 a month, which is the retail cost of a newer game and includes a rotating list of 25 popular titles and online mutiplayer. Gamepass for PC is $11 a month and includes a few hundred games, and all Xbox first party games (Xbox Studios, Bethesda, Activision, and Blizzard)drop day one on Gamepass for no addional charge. Triple A titles can cost $60 or $70 a piece on launch. Gamepass Ultimate includes both of those subscriptions with the same benefits plus a Perks rewards (free add ons for a few rotating games, deals on Discord Nitro, Apple Music/TV, RUclips, etc). For $20 a month. Its not just online pay to play. There is real value here. 5. Backward compatibility. The Series X/S plays every Xbox One title except for Kinect titles due to dropped support. It plays every 360 and OG Xbox title that the Xbox One did as well. But, the number of games it can play pales in comparison to PC when considering the PC can play mostly anything. 6. Mod support. Few Xbox games contain support for mods. Those that do have a very narrow amount when compared to the PC. I have played a ton of Skyrim on console. When the mod support came, it was fantastic! Then i would notice a really cool mod online and would try to download it only to find it was PC only. 7. Exclusivity. Since this is an Xbox to PC comparison, I will leave out Playstation and Nintendo. Unless it is an older title or 3rd party, there are no Xbox console exclusives. Every new Xbox Studios game comes to PC day one. 8. Grand Theft Auto 6. The last point I will make is that GTA6 does not have a launch date for PC. It will remain on consoles for an extended period. This will be the biggest game release in quite a while. If you are a GTA fan, this will be enough to entice you to buy a console. I hope this was informative to someone. I really liked the video! Thank you for making it Toasty Bros.!
A way to fix the issue at 12:08 is to either have a controller plugged in or before you start up Fortnite turn off the controller and start up Fortnite with the keyboard connected to the Xbox (pressing enter or space on the app). Also don’t turn the controller back on as it will do the same again if it turns off, hope this helps.
Honestly I would just buy the 500 dollar PC because of the upgrade path later on which makes it more worth it in the long run. Not to mention there is many things you can do on PC that you just can't on a console.
@zach4182 "upgrade path" is essentially supported chipset and high capacity power supply. At $500 you're not getting a newer chipset, so unless you consider older parts and low power draw components an upgrade, there isn't an upgrade path. Which would be valid. But to me, AM5 has a true upgrade path because it will be supported in the future. But if you're describing something like starting with an R5 3600 with the intention to get a 5800X3D, then I would concede that you technically have an upgrade path.
Same, I've played exclusively on consoles since they came out, I'm old. I bought a gaming PC a month ago and there is a big difference, the PC is much better.
I’m the opposite, I was a pc gamer for over 20 years and switched to consoles a couple of years back. I got so sick of having to tinker with games to get them running right
Xbox game files are up to 50% smaller than their PC counterparts. PCs have to be much more powerful as a result. It's a bit like comparing apples to oranges Or High quality graphics to Budget quality graphics. Or, you get what you paid for.
Wtf are u talking abt, the reason is because xbox has much less quality and it's much more bitcrunched than pc games like cyberpunk, you can search it up if you don't believe me. Pc's are just better in every way and we can go online without paying $70 a year which amounts to an extra $420 for 6 years of active use of a new console and much likely a ton more than that number because people don't just buy the newest console any time it comes out. Also a pc worth $1,000 is much better value than what we would get with a xbox or Playstation because its not just gaming as we can do other stuff like study and multitask.
If you take Cod Modern warfare 3 it requires more space on consoles by 15% and so do most other games because of the lack of raw graphics power and refinement.
It might sound weird but if you play Spotify on the Xbox you controller doesn’t disconnect random bc when the song changes it keeps you connected connect.(so basically play Spotify and turn the volume off so you can’t tell you are playing music and the controller won’t disconnect) . Love the content btw
There’s always these comparisons of equally-priced PCs and consoles, but it’s worth remembering that most console players will still need to buy a PC anyways for other productivity stuff. So if you’d pay $500 for the console and even just $400 for a cheap PC, you can get a good gaming PC for the same $900 as the other two together. It’ll hold up well against the console and be a much better computer for the other stuff than any $400 PC would have been.
I also always mention to folks that it's useful for so much more than gaming, and the versatility and upgradability is huge! But consols are great options if you're a set it and forget it kind of person.
With $200 more you can build a PC that matches the console, since I'm looking at an RX 6750 for $250 and a 12600K for $160, which you can also change for a Ryzen 5700x and the rest of the components, choosing well you already have a pretty good PC for $700.
If that's used pricing then you can consider a 300 dollar used PS5/x to be fair no? 500 to 700 is about a 40% price increase too so yeah that's probably worth it to some.
6700 is the equivalent gpu to the ps5, and 6700xt is pretty much equivalent to the Xbox series X. The 6700 is unavailable in my area, the 6700xt is $299, and the 6750xt is $329. That's why i went with the 6800 for $380. I run native 4k high with a ryzen 7 5800, get 70-100fps. I have a total of $950 in my build after selling the old graphics card. But having said all that, I bought my son and Xbox series x and run his on a 4k tv, and when I play warzone on the Xbox, it's pretty hard to tell a difference. If you took the fps counter away and just played, you'd be puzzled.
@@labiatesyea they never do that math. For some reason they act like used parts is only exclusive to them. $300-$350 with a controller is simply something you can’t replicate…. So they make a million amendments. “But if you just……” I know buddy it’s ok.
@@eytbitsas a PC owner I don't get the hate for laptops. I have a laptop, desktop and a console and I tend to find myself on the laptop way more. Even though it's not eh equivalent of its desktop brother. It don't stutter or slow down a bit.
I own an Xbox series x and a Nintendo switch and just bought a Lenovo LOQ as my very 1st gaming PC. It has an RTX3050. This video was good for those afraid to make the plunge to pc gaming. Maybe do the same where you compare both consoles to a mid range pc and a top tier pc. So they can see what they could have.
This is why I love Toasty Bros: no console war bs. They don't have any bias, they give you the facts and that's it. Console is cheaper point of entry, but PC has more potential in the long run. Yes, there are many more points for both the console and PC, but this comment is already long enough. Play where you want, it doesn't matter as long as YOU are happy
If you just want to play modern games, i think the Series S is a godsend. But getting into the PC world is great for exclusives, steam sales, and upgradeability down the road.
Something I'd say is important to consider is if you want or need to use a computer for anything other than gaming. If you're only wanting or needing to play games, the consoles are likely a better value, at least in my opinion, but if you are also wanting to browse the internet, youtube, facebook, do research, write papers or use other Office type apps, the computer can easily do all of that AND play games.
With the sheer amount of game available on PC, I'd go that route just about any day of the week. I'd try to scrounge up closer to $700 as the budget though, you'll get a much nicer starting experience. Being able to afford to spend $250-300 on the GPU will make a pretty big difference.
@@SciFiDude79 i don’t know, i usually see better discounts over on pc rather than console. then again i don’t usually buy games or play the newest titles. Steam usually has lots of sales practically every month or so, and they do have a wider library of games compared to Xbox and Playstation.
Xbox only does deals for 2 star trash games that aren't selling. You can check what sales are going on and decide for yourself. Also look at that price tag for black ops 2. Which is an xbox 360 game they are selling for $49.99 12 years later.....
This is why buying used is best for things like the gpu. You can get RTX 2080ti's for $200. 1080ti's for sub 150, etc. The market is so inflated with the cost of new stuff, I always recommend people buy used when helping them build a system.
Also I'm very impressed by the performance of my rx 6600, I get over 120 fps on everything and 120 on warzone ultra settings it jumps to 200+ sometimes. I have an aio coming in a couple days to replace my wraith cooler, my 5700x hates me for not getting an aio day one it's constantly going to 80+ Celsius when gaming.
The PC is by a significant margin the better value proposition. Advantages include no extra fees just to have the ability to game online, better deals on games, more versaitlity (can be used as a work PC), aesthetics are customizable, and most importantly: it has an upgrade path. The only advantage that consoles provide is that they are more affordable upfront.
Good old pc gaming, huge pain in the ass to get some games running. I was a pc gamer from about 1995 until a couple of years ago. I gave my pc to my brother and never looked back
I built my PC and have the Series X. Gonna need it for GTA VI, until they decide when it'll be released for PC. I am a PC guy all day but don't underestimate the Consoles. The Quality they produce from the APU is amazing.
I mean with PC you don't have to pay monthly to play games online, so you would save $10 a month. The average console life is 5 years so over the consoles life you are going to pay $300 just to play online. You can get into PC gaming so cheap now compared to 10 years ago.
I just purchased my first ever pre build pc as a birthday gift to myself I'm so excited to receive it, I know I'm going to be gaming for YEEEEEEEEEEARS to come. I haven't touched my series s in god knows how long it just sits there. I got into gaming on my laptop after buying the acer swift x sfx14 that you guys recommend buying a while ago.
I had an Xbox Series X, I bought it about a year ago, had it for about six months, sold it, and bought a Legion Pro 5 earlier this year around Mother's Day on sale with a 4070 and will never go back. My only complaint about this laptop is the 4070 only has 8 gigs of vram. I think next time I'll get something with at least 16 even if I have to spend another Grand to get it.
I bought a Series X for $400 and a PC for $300. The only downside to the PC are the specs which are an i7 8700k and GTX 1060 6GB. In my case you can't compare the PC to the console.
@@ERROR_RESET The GTX 1060 are better than the graphics in the ps4 and xbox one, which are about the level of a 960 and the 1060 is around that of ps4 pro and xbox one x.

Just got my first gaming PC, need a computer for work, and am taking some online classes. Sold my series X to go towards the PC. Wish I would have gotten into PC gaming way sooner. I did, however, spend a little more than $500 on the PC, but it's been worth it.
Pc will still be better, I’ve had mine for about 7 years now and if I would’ve payed monthly $10 to just play online then I would’ve been down $840!! It’s the best decision I ever made switching to PC
The only game I can't get to stay at a locked frame rate is warzone, in Fortnite you set a fps limit and it rarely goes above it and even rare drops. But most games you just set it to 144 or 120 if it's dropping at 240 or 165 and it will only move while loading into games.
I don't know why are people saying you fell off, atleast ya'all didn't try and get a free Case from a junkyard or smth 😂. Honest and good quality work from you guys
the fact that console manufacturers offer their consoles at a price where they don't make a profit and plan to make people buy their stuff (subscription, peripherals or first party games) makes consoles always beat gaming pcs
I play on both. I have a Switch, PS5, Xbox Series S (shared), & PC. As well as a decent console collection that includes PS2, PS3, PS4, GameCube, & Wii. It depends on what I'm playing and who I'm playing with.
I played console only for decades, but always personally enjoyed the Keyboard and Mouse. Now as for being able to just boot up games and play whatever, you're going to 100% be able to do that with 99.9% of the games you load on console, for PC, it's a good 40% because games now and days are BIG and you will only have like 4-5 games at a time that you can play (if you play modern games). I would suggest getting both since I love being able to use apps like Discord, OBS, VoiceMod, and emiuators such as Bluestacks and various console ones. If you're someone who just wants to play games after work, get a console, 100%.
The one thing I sell on someone getting a Pc is that a lot of games you will be able to mod them and depending on the game for example skyrim you can mod like crazy and make the game look like a remake.
the "well you can buy used pc parts" isnt a valid argument anymore. you can buy a used consoles and ive seen NEW series x in stores for $370. also, you dont have to pay the monthly fees (you can also get deals for that and earn rewards on xbox to get it free) for free to play games. there is also the game share aspect. you get every game as buy 1 get 1 free. a lot of people dont want to mess with the upgrades and troubleshooting that comes with pc. pc and console are both awesome, but they're for two different types of people.
Hello, I have a question about the mouse poll rate on the Xbox Series X. Does it support 1000hz on the Xbox, whether the mouse or the controller, and is there a response delay compared to the PC?
Gotta remember, the series x with the right setup gets a static 120 fps across nearly all titles including the new ones. Some budget gaming pcs only put out 70-95fps. One of my laptops (hp victus) does this when connected to an external monitor but on device it’s 100-118 fps static across nearly all titles except Ark survival ascended.
its simple, if you just want to game with your bros, get a console, but if you actually spend time online and do more than just game, your gonna want a PC, it may be a little more expensive for a good PC, but as a pc owner and builder, im so happy that i spent a couple hundred dollars more than a console cost, PC over console (just my opinion)
And another thing is I don’t think your pushing the xbox series x full compatibility, like did you enable 120hz, 4k, HDR, auto HDR, Dolby vision, VRR etc and another thing is you should’ve had the PC set to 4k native and use upscale to make it more fair same goes for the list up too what I said
The PC will always do much better. I played on consoles since they came out, I'm a senior gamer at 63 years old, I bought a prebuilt per you guys and I'll never look back again, goodbye console gaming forever.
Nah definitely not at console price bro, my 3060 ti 5800X3D custom build is worse and in some games much worse than my PS5. RIft apart has RT and higher res on PS5, MW3 looks sharper, better and also runs at 120 stable unlike my PC. The PC will only do better at much higher prices and much better HW.
I have both and use both accordingly. Console for some games since my pc is “old” with a 9th gen intel and 2060 but runs a few titles well and whatever I can’t run on pc just run on xbox love both 💯
You should do a used PC at the same price point of the refurbished console for comparison or maybe see how much it'd cost to build comparable PCs on both the new and used market.
if you turn the xbox on with the power buton on the console you can use arrow keys to navigate and the enter key to select. that will disable the issue with the controller falling asleep
I have both a PS5 and a PC but I use them for different things. On my PS5 I have usually turn based rpg's like Persona 5, Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth as well as the rest of the Like a Dragon games, and certain exclusives like Gran Turismo 7, Shadow of the Colossus (my favorite game of all time), and Demons Souls Remake. The PS5 is hooked up to a 4K 44 inch TV. My PC has other games like ones you can heavily mod like Skyrim, Cylerpunk 2077 and so on. I also play certain competetive games like Rainbow Six Siege, which benefits greatly from hight framerates and refresh rate. Other games I play on PC are Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, Black Ops 3 (Modded zombies maps with friends is so much fun), Clone Hero, Warframe, and other miscellaneous games only available on PC storefronts. My main monitor is 27 inches 1440p resolution, 240Hz refresh rate.
Besides what was mentioned already about the subscriptions fees of having a Console I would add the cost saving of buying games from sales on Steam. I mean that is a big big saving by the end.
Okay, I kept hearing that the $500 PC could not keep up with the console. There are 2 problems with that. 1.) there were drops in frame rates he felt it while playing on the console. 2.) console can and does experience frame drops and to this video claims the console was at a constant 120fps. How do you know that? There is no frame counter to show this to you. Just because it looks and feels smooth doesn't mean the console is at 120fps all the time. My games feel great on my PC when I'm not focused on fps. Can't really tell too much that it's dropping. Now I'll say yes the RX 6600 is a little dated, but I also had 90-95 on a GTX 1080 at 1440p high settings on my build a couple years ago playing MWII and warzone. What I truly one day wish to see is console manufacturers releasing fps counters for console. Show a true comparison. Funny consoles can't or won't show what their true fps in their games. 🤔
I think there is some bottleneck going on with RX 6600 where in Fortnite CPU utilization is around 90-100% and GPU is chilling around 70-75% in most of the scenarios.
I mean consoles are good if you're only using it to game for cheaper than a pc but a pc can do far more things that are necessary and can game better for a higher price point
It seems like you guys still mix up frame time and latency. The number next to you FPS on your MSI overlay is the frame time. Simply 1/FPS so it fluctuates proportionally with fps and says the same thing basically. Latency is a bit harder to measure but that is what especially Jackson is talking about a lot
I used to be a PC gamer back in the ATI days and the problem with budget PC is that youll have to wait for the minimum requirements and 🤞🤞wish you budget card can run the game. The biggest drawback for consoles is actually the paid online multiplayer. But in 2024 PC gamepass for pretty much half the price of console and the free multiplayer i think PC gaming is the way to go for a couple of extra bucks. Plus you have steam deck.
I'd just go with PC, especially with emulators, you can relive your childhood games. Also the upgrade path is just worth it. You get a choice to upgrade and have a better experience
9:35 the GPU is actually based on the same GPU used in the RX 6700 10GB. I believe the CPU is very similar in architecture to the Ryzen 5 4500G. Might be closer the PS5 specs. Someone made a video about it…
A little late here. But pc all the way for me .started with console but i like the ability to change out hardware for improvements, experiments testing etc etc . Also i like the challenge of keeping files clean and orginizing folders to keep things running optimal. So many more options with pc like livestreaming with obs setting up my own custom audio through a soundboard xlr Mic setups and software option's are unlimted .
The thing you have to also take into account for console performance compared to pc is also that Xbox makes a loss on the consoles so it gives them a fair advantage over pc for performance per dollar
You don't need Norton, all Microsoft PCs have the free Windows antivirus software, you don't need a subscription and works well and is upgraded for free.
I have a pretty competent PC: 12700k + 3090 and a Series X. I love them both but consoles provide a great value that’s hard to ignore - especially if they go on sale. My Series X was purchased for $350.
ironically i traded my xbox series x for a pc then ive upgraded it myself and there is a huge difference in the way i play my games and also gives an opportunity for customization to every little part of my setup to however or whatever I want, other than a console you can only put some stickers or a wrap on it but ig that would also argue w budget
If you're playing games with a good gaming pc and you're getting high fps but still stuttering it's probably not the PC it's the game engine limitation. Use a frame limiter like rivatuner set to a reasonable fps for your hardware and you would probably minimize the stuttering it wouldn't be noticeable anymore.
Honestly I would argue it's worth throwing another $200 or so at the PC hardware is a fair comparison... but remember, you are paying up front on a PC... that console will charge you that extra cash over time in the form of online fees. $10 a month minimum adds up.

I didn't realize how much I was missing out on until I found out about 5M, LSPDFR and other mods that just makes games more fun especially after you've played them for awhile. The mods in some cases make it like having completely new games.
If a game needs mods it's not a good game. 😂😂😂

At that price point you're not getting much of an upgrade path for components in that price range
@@rasluffi All of the parts for that PC are modern how is there not much of an upgrade path
I’ve always been a Console gamer but I’m getting a Pc soon .
I joined a few months ago, best decision I've made.
Same, I've played exclusively on consoles since they came out, I'm old. I bought a gaming PC a month ago and there is a big difference, the PC is much better.
Aye, goodluck bro it’s positively life changing
proud of you, my boi
Pc holding up for many years as u upgrade unlike console.
You gotta remember the series x was $500 4 YEARS AGO! Helluva deal if you got it on launch! I did and have been extremely pleased with it
There’s always these comparisons of equally-priced PCs and consoles, but it’s worth remembering that most console players will still need to buy a PC anyways for other productivity stuff.
I went the third route: Series S for gaming and refurbished laptop for everyday tasks and retro emulation.
Didn’t even have to reach 500...
The series s has probably the best price for performance of any System right now
If u wanted to, you could emulate retro games up to ps2 on the series s/x.
Congrats. You got the worst of both worlds lol
@@eytbitsas a PC owner I don't get the hate for laptops. I have a laptop, desktop and a console and I tend to find myself on the laptop way more. Even though it's not eh equivalent of its desktop brother. It don't stutter or slow down a bit.
@@TravisTheSavage Who's hating? It's just widely recognized that a laptop always performs worse than its desktop counterparts.
You can eliminate the controller problem by taking out the batteries an plug the controller directly in via cable.
Ad talks about microcenter opening august 23rd which is, obviously, in the past. May need to be updated.
I used to be a PC elitist but now i collect consoles and the series X is really attractive
With the sheer amount of game available on PC, I'd go that route just about any day of the week. I'd try to scrounge up closer to $700 as the budget though, you'll get a much nicer starting experience. Being able to afford to spend $250-300 on the GPU will make a pretty big difference.
What about a used 300/350 dollar ps5/x vs a 300/350 dollar pc
a used ps5 would be better, but you have to account for future purchases like subscriptions and barely any game discounts
That makes no sense have you watched the video ? At this point save more money and buy a pc for atleast 500$
@@geklautvonoma5644 bro completely missed the point.
Happy to see Microcenter as this Videos sponsor! Go Toasty Bros! Keep it the great work!
This is why buying used is best for things like the gpu. You can get RTX 2080ti's for $200. 1080ti's for sub 150, etc. The market is so inflated with the cost of new stuff, I always recommend people buy used when helping them build a system.
12:36 the fix is that you just have to keep it plugged in to the xbox. I have a xbox myself and this has happened to me.
A pc for $300 and one for $500 is really a big difference
I dream of an 8700K... i'm still running an i5 6500...
that 100$ gap was probably enough for a used rx6600xt. at least in my area

The only game I can't get to stay at a locked frame rate is warzone, in Fortnite you set a fps limit and it rarely goes above it and even rare drops. But most games you just set it to 144 or 120 if it's dropping at 240 or 165 and it will only move while loading into games.

@@barbar0s.7 it's just an internet meme
the fact that console manufacturers offer their consoles at a price where they don't make a profit and plan to make people buy their stuff (subscription, peripherals or first party games) makes consoles always beat gaming pcs
Warzone has a built in FPS counter in the settings you can turn on for consoles if you do future testing. Also, always turn off film grain.
So unless you include the mouse and keyboard in that price this technically doesn’t compare. Xbox comes with a controller…..
Latency on console feels so much worse, even if you are “locked at 120hz” which just means dynamic scaling and trickery to maintain that rate.
This is incorrect. Majority of console titles are only 30fps quality, or 60fps blurry mode

its simple, if you just want to game with your bros, get a console, but if you actually spend time online and do more than just game, your gonna want a PC, it may be a little more expensive for a good PC, but as a pc owner and builder, im so happy that i spent a couple hundred dollars more than a console cost, PC over console (just my opinion)

You should do a used PC at the same price point of the refurbished console for comparison or maybe see how much it'd cost to build comparable PCs on both the new and used market.
These videos should give the pc build another $150 bucks as there is no online fee for 2 years of gaming. That would crush the console.
There is no online fee for consoles now.
if you turn the xbox on with the power buton on the console you can use arrow keys to navigate and the enter key to select. that will disable the issue with the controller falling asleep
Where's the productivty test? And multitasking comparison? Which one is faster on excel?
I bought that Xbox for $300 bucks on sale at Walmart.
Would love to see a PC vs PS5 Challenge!
12:08 the fix is to start the game without the controller connected, then it won’t ask
Both, both is good
That Counterstrike shirt SLAPS
Its always gunna be better in the long term to build the PC
They say second hand pc hardware can be risky... Seconds later 'we picked up this refurbished Xbox...' lol
🤔
I think there is some bottleneck going on with RX 6600 where in Fortnite CPU utilization is around 90-100% and GPU is chilling around 70-75% in most of the scenarios.
that gaming pc looks 🔥
Used parts gets you that experience and more for $500 easy.
Spending an extra $60 (12400 cpu) and $100 (rx6750) would give a very similar experience.
Since you went with a refurb Xbox I feel like you could have went with a used or even try to part together a refurb pc.
PC has Norton every year that's a subscription
You don't need Norton, all Microsoft PCs have the free Windows antivirus software, you don't need a subscription and works well and is upgraded for free.
Nobody uses Norton anymore. Its just bloatware at this point that slows your PC down
you have to plug your controller in to the console. I have had that issue many times and that is the only fix for it.
The Xbox is really a cut down pc with different software running A zen 2 CPU that you can't upgrade. The Xbox X only has 16gb ram.
I have a pretty competent PC: 12700k + 3090 and a Series X. I love them both but consoles provide a great value that’s hard to ignore - especially if they go on sale. My Series X was purchased for $350.
