I totally understand the struggle of being heavy handed with tools. I don't know why it happens, but I end up having to erase so much because I want the sketch to be perfect, and then have to deal with dark marks on the paper as well as so many eraser shavings everywhere lol. It makes drawing and traditional art for fun feel very daunting. I think I'll give the digital sketch and lightbox process a try because that makes a lot of sense. Your sketch in marker, even though it's a first try at the process, turned out incredible and the final art piece looked amazing!! Straight up full of talent and skill.
These long videos are so nice and relaxing. I wanted to thank you for inspiring me to plan some graphic novel art myself. Your Comic proces video helped me so much 💛
The flow of the hair is mesmerizing ! I love your style and your way of painting is very inspiring ! I love it ! I hope we'll see more in the future ! And I can't wait to see what Netflix show you're talking about :)
i cant wait to buy your bullet journaling stuff!! something id really love to see is a pack of mini stick on blank calanders. kinda like midori has. maybe like 4 variations of art. one for each season. and maybe a memo pad
I watched your video 3 times. Initially for your technique, but then in listening to what you were saying, I can relate. I grew frustrated trying to pay back student loans with my artwork. From not charging enough to losing confidence in my ability to completing projects- you name it. But that was years ago and I wasn’t nearly as talented. The other thing was stationery, I don’t know why it’s been a thing with me since childhood too, and still is. Good luck to you. This would be a gorgeous sticker.
i totallyyyyyy relate to the difficulty of creating deadlines for yourself. i’ve been struggling with that myself as i’ve been working on my small business. you worded that struggle perfectly! thank uuuuu, now i understand it better myself and don’t feel so alone in that struggle
@@CosmicSpectrumArt yeah for sure! i’ve definitely started to notice a pattern and a groove that i get into. i’m still new to it, so it’s been interesting trying to navigate the artist life, but i wouldn’t change a thing:) p.s. i always appreciate you’re honesty and authenticity in your videos! and fills me with happiness and motivation to hear your shop has been supporting you financially! that’s a goal i hope to reach one day ⭐️
This is gorgeous. I love water based art (ink, watercolour...) it has a really nice feel. Also, I’m now inspired to do some painting with two or three colours, since it really brought this piece together ♥︎
You managed to describe why I struggle with my own work. I personally learn and work relatively better in a school/outside deadline perspective; always have. Its why I'm bothering going to university as opposed to just learning on my own. I always described it as struggling with accountability, but i think your description works much better as a 'why' reason. Edit: also, I gotta save up for those sticker packs. This piece alone sold me on them. 🤞 hopefully there will still be some available when I finally get the money saved up
Even though this video was long for a drawing/painting timelapse, the process of this one was actually fun to watch the whole time. Most drawing videos ten minutes plus are boring; the process, regardless of the final product, I think is what makes these fun to watch.
I'm trying to start my own art channel, and every time I hit record, I can NOT draw! But when I put your video on in the background, it helps distract me from the "stage fright" I get! Your voice and your style is so calming I could watch these 30 minute videos all day
I can't wait to see the bullet journaling stuff ^^ I'm trying out one for 2021 *crossing fingers I can get this set up xD* Love the idea of the journal with the grid option as well! Can't wait to add more of your stickers to my collection
As far as domain names go, you got people out there who surf YT for channel names then purchase the domain before the creator does. If you're starting a YT channel make sure to buy the domain name before you start your channel.
I'll totally buy ALL your scholar stickers, they are so pretty! and I wish you all the best with your own personal works, and looking forward to that comic you are talking about!
I'm quite late here, but the math behind the oval is that is has two focal points and an outline curve. Stick down a compass, that has two sharp points, on a piece of paper (these will be the focal points). Then make a tied loop of some thread that is loose around the compass. Now grab a pencil, hook it in the thread from inside and draw your outline curve. ;)
sorry, I cant help you with any supplier, I just wanted to let you know, that I love your videos and your art is absolutely gorgeous. looking forward to see more of it here!
I came for the thumb nail Subed for the geometry class And how did you not ruin the watercolor paper while using a dip pen? Kinda been ruining papers lately, even after putting a layer over of paint.
lmao, most likely not the same project (i would assume) I didn't actually work for Netflix directly, but a different studio that's developing an animated series through/with Netflix. They produce so many series that it's unlikely we worked on the same one xD hahaha and thank you!
@@CosmicSpectrumArt Oooh, I see... Well, if it was true, it would be an interesting "styles collide" experience... Either way, I'm very curious about the project you've worked on ^-^... I always watch your videos hypnotized.
hi! I actually have a tutorial on my channel, that shows all my common materials and explains why I like them. In this particular video, i sketch with a tombow dual end water-based marker (beige), then with a mechanical pencil. The rest is coloured inks diluted and mixed in various ratios, can be purchased from Heikala.com
@@CosmicSpectrumArt hell yeah I do! Imagine if you only made a 3min vid lol. This is a great layout for drawing vids in comparison to regular speedpaints, and far more entertaining.

Gorgeous piece!!! Also I’m exited for when u can talk about the project you’re working for on Netflix!
Wait, what?can you tell me about it
I love watching these. I’m so jealous of how you sketch with ink.

Never been so early before
Neither have I
I know right?
I came for the thumb nail
Subed for the geometry class

Kinda been ruining papers lately, even after putting a layer over of paint.
might be hotpress paper, which has less "tooth" for the pen to snag on
@@mizarevergreen7869 I'll keep that in mind
Thank you and happy new year
Hey! What is the size of your pen for inking???
Wow this is amazing )

I’ve seen my friends say simp so many times I got confused reading the title lol
If you do get enamel pins made, please get hard enamel, not soft. Soft is cheaper for a reason.
stupendo!
LOVE IT!!!!
amazing
what watercolors/ink do you use? : D
great video!
You should ask Baylee j she does pins herself I believe and buys them from somewhere . wish I well love the vid.
Putting money aside for your comic ☺️
I like it more when you cut out some parts rather than when you speed up the video
I know this is a clique but I’ve never been this early.
ahaha my schedule's so unpredictable that the early people are always different x''D
