I was shocked by how modern the rooms are at Majestic Mirage Punta Cana. I was expecting a traditional Caribbean layout and decor, but this is room is anything but traditional. In this video I give a complete room tour of my suite at Majestic Mirage Punta Cana. This room features a private rooftop with a Jacuzzi.

Been to this property 4 times now...The swim up rooms are better in my opinion...every person I know who had the rooftop room by the third day had issues with it (stairs are dangerous when wet or navigating when drinking, rain makes the rooftop useless, outdoor shower is iffy) we had the swim up room and it was so awesome...separate private bedroom, huge patio with chairs, sofa bali bed and 2 lounge chairs....private, difficult to peek next door.....ground floor give you faster access to pool, restaurants and beach....one note: the closet by the front door is not used for storage of your personal effects!....that is used for your dirty dishes, cups and small garbage. they come by frequently to clean them out. Also, it is a point of contactless delivery for food as they open the closet from the outside, put your food in, and you access it from inside the room.
Great that this place has a full privacy. Great tour and wait for the next one!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE: do a summary of the DR resorts you stayed at. Would appreciate you ranking these in terms of overall value which considers cost relative to what you get: Accommodations, Food Quality & Ambiance (noise level, a la carte timeliness), Entertainment (Night & Day), Pool Areas & Recreation, Beach & Resort Amenities (loungers, balli beds and shade) as well as other features (butler, ease of reservations, the "hidden gems", etc). Once again - GREAT WORK! P.S. Yes, I know you rank them at the end of each video but apply the same criteria to each. If I go to DR do I go Secrets? Hard Rock? Replublica?

I stayed here a while back at the elegance side. Had a great time, pools were fun, met some great people. The lobby bar makes a great martini and I ate the entire French restaurant menu as I thought it was the best food at the resort.

Vacationed at the Mirage in this type room last October with a lady friend. The privet jacuzzi and sun bed were a attraction.

This was the resort I wanted to go to until I learned you have to make reservations at the restaurants. I want to have the option of going to any restaurant on any given night. I continued my resort search and decided on Excellence El Carmen, I hope the food is great there, but I will be watching to see if you do a video on that resort
I stayed at this hotel last January and loved it! I think the first closet you showed is for when you order room service is where they put your meal in just in case you busy and so they don’t just walk in on!
Yes, it is a valet closet. I never saw the door on the other side

Have been here for 16 days on our Honeymoon (are leaving this saturday) and the food is insanely good in each one of the restaurants imho (like 5 star restaurant good). I really recommend the slow cook short ribs at the "Don Jaume" Steakhouse, our favourite dish of all the restaurants at the resort. You won't regret it, I promise.

That closet you said by the door isn’t a closet…it’s where you put everything when you’re done with your food from the room service.
The only way I can use a true rain head shower is if I can combine it with a normal shower at the same time. Water coming straight down just doesn't work for me. : )

Really?! I loved it! I tend to gravitate to rooms with a modern and metropolitan feel so it was exactly what I liked and opposite of everything else I've seen thus far in punta Cana
love the channel but you're still an all inclusive noob...the"closet" by the door is actually a very special feature! it's a dedicated room service door so they can discretely serve you without knocking on the door. usually only 5 star resorts have them...you are forgiven for being an all inclusive noob.
Valet closets aren't exclusive to all inclusives. I never saw the door on other side.
