@@stonechestplate928not just that its singles, but its also got an EXTREMELY limited list of valid pokemon, almost entirely devoid of power creep. It took being shoved into as small a box as humanly possible for the bee to be even remotely worth picking, thats how sad and pathetic it is!
@@pyromaniac000000 uu isnt that bad of a placement, especially when base beedrill is a shitmon even in zu, id rather be b+ in uu then bottom tier in zu (this is oras, sm mega bee is a bit worse. alot of people act like under OU = bad, but mega beedrill is very strong in the second highest tier. in singles bee loses to priority and most things that outspeed it, but the list of mons that outspeed mega bee is rather small (just ninjask and mega aerodactyl, with 2 mons speedtying (accelgor and mega sceptile), but in gen6 beedrill scouts priority quite well since it should always run protect (megas use their base speed stat on the turn you mega evolve, their mega speed stat isn't used until the next turn in oras)
This is the cool thing about limited pools of Pokemon is it can develop its own little meta that’s comically different from traditional formats. It was fun watching the bee go brrrrr

According to all known laws of competitive pokemon, there is no way a bee should be able to win tournaments. Its defensive stats are too low to get its fat little body up the ladder. The bee, of course, wins anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.
Someone needs to post the entire script somewhere.

something very amusing i find with the scarf chandelure vs mega bee thing is how if it was played in lv50 instead of lv100, the chandelure would have outspeed by 1 point 216 (bee) vs 217 (base 80 scarfers)
That light screen interaction is sort of like how burn still reduces body press damage. Damage modifiers don't care which stats were used in calculating the damage.

Did King prove that Fell Stinger is the best move in pokemon? Some questions simply don't have an answer
In gen 7, fell stinger got buffed to 50 power and raised attack by 3 stages. With M-bee's adaptiblity that's 100 power which is actually kinda cracked when I used it.
I like the rotoscoped sprites, still has the iconic Luck look but is surely much faster to actually make

The fact you won with fell stinger beedrill using the much worse version of the move (after gen 6 it was buffed to 50 base power and raised by 3 stages if you got a KO with it, not just two)
despite the fact i was there for the tournament live i still gasped and clapped at the mew surviving on 1hp, congrats on winning!!

For anyone wondering, the absolute banger of a song that started play around 8:12 is Boutique from Pokemon X and Y. If Zinnia’s theme did not exist, it would be hands down best song in all of Gen 6.
God I miss Gen 6 Singles/Smogon so much. I really think it's the best meta. Nothing crazy corny or crazy broken (minus the few unavoidable outliers) and nothing over centralizing. Of course you have your best mons as you do in any meta but, I feel like they're much less necessary than other metas and there's a much wider variety of strong Pokemon.

In all my time watching and playing gen 6, seeing every set on the planet that a Donphan can run, I don’t think I’ve EVER seen one running Gunk Shot and now I can’t imagine why a cheeky fairy or grass snipe wasn’t appealing enough to anyone lmao

10:05 The same thing happens with psyshock (and similar moves) into a Pokemon with the Ice Scales ability, which also halves special damage into the Pokemon with it.

just a guy drawn and poorly animated,
some programm did the job, so no draw and no animation happened.
just a badly wierd comicish filter.
anyways, its similar yet very different from vtubers.
i never want to talk or be talked to by a robot,
vtubers look like some generated poor and sad automatrons,
this guy only partially looks like that, the movement is human like,
but facial expressions are completely absent and mouth movement doesnt match anything.
this might be the limit of a certain technique.
its halfway good but still mostly bad.
one cant simply swim between real and drawn that easily.
Its called Rotoscoping. Joel Haver and Goat on a Stick use it a lot. The goal isnt to be animated or a vtuber, but more to blend irl cam footage into an animated aesthetic.
