Thanks all your great content this year, can’t wait to give this a go.
Early in the year I focus on the middle of the green, swinging easy, taking plenty of club and I shoot 75. Later on I shoot at pins, swing hard, etc. and rarely break 80.
I am lowering my score and I am down to the last adjustments to get where I want to be (sub 80). I had three of these in my round on Saturday and thinned all of them! Thank for this video and all of your others as well!!
Love the vlog. Would have liked you to show it with a level and downhill lie also. The uphill lie is the easiest of the 3. Thanks.
Wow! Awesome lesson! Actually, another one of many awesome lessons. You keep knocking them out of the park. Excellent explanation. Great, clear visuals. Much appreciate your expertise and willingness to share. You have helped me drop my handicap and enjoy the game a lot more. Better golf is much more fun!
Man golf season can’t get here fast enough. I envy you for living in an area of year around golf.
Great video, ball position and yanking the handle tips particularly relevant to me.
Need a video on 50-60 yard bunker shots please
Great tips, thank you!
Practice using your tips and able to make clean contact ball pop up real nice , still a bit nervous with a longer back swing but getting good results
I appreciate the 'do' instruction as apposed to the 'don't' instruction. Thank you.
All the things I've done right since 20 something years ago especially with the ball in forward position, while all the pros back then were saying I was wrong.
Well, I'm just glad to be proven right 20 something years later. Thank you.
Tried it and sent it 280 yards past the green
Would like to see video on proper aiming with more open face.
Scary shot for sure but good advise MSG!
It's all true, good stuff buddy
Please pass on to PXG that Fred in West Palm Beach, FL loves his XCor2 irons--fitted by Mike.
I’m definitely going for this one as this part of my game is a dumpster fire for sure. 60 degree Callaway Mack Daddy. It’s funny how we think just having ‘the club’ fixes everything. What really equates to is practice practice practice and breaking bad habits.
Wait, it doesn’t?
On another video with a very similar scenario, you talked about the backswing being more vertical in this scenario is it shallow or vertical?
Thanks!
Thank you
Where did you get that shirt ?
What’s your opinion of PXG clubs?
How are the wedges?
I have a 68⁰ wedge that i am surgical with. Can swing it full strength, and it only flies 55yds... it just goes higher and higher, lol.
I'd rather use an actual 68⁰ than open up my 60⁰...
Hi Mr SG - all great advice. But another video telling golfers to open the club face. Without telling them not whilst holding the club. Many players open by turning their hands over. You demonstrated for sure but did not emphasis the club falling open then re-gripping - just thought I would mention that as I see so players go in a bunker and turn their hands with a normal grip and disaster is the only result.
Weight even or more on your front foot?
Yes
Welcome to Scottsdale, playing a course that 80% of people can't play on. Miss your Muni videos back in the day.
More like 99.9% of us! Where’s Robin Leach? Still love your videos, though.
Do another how players...bend the rules...video, its been a while!
Absolutely ridiculous how easy you make that look
You watch this and think "oh that's so simple"
then you go and try it and after 25 balls youve got absolutely none of them anywhere near where you wanted them 😂
Then you realise it's not easy, it takes years, upon years of practice to make it look easy
