Hey guys! I’m Tiff - a lover of food, travel, and good vibes. After traveling to Italy when I was 16, I made a promise to myself that I would live abroad before I was 30. And I made it happen! In 2017, I tapped out of my PRgirl lifestyle to pursue an MBA in Paris. Yes, Paris! The timing was all too perfect. Jumping out of my comfort zone and moving to Paris, was the scariest thing that I’ve done in life thus far, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This channel is my outlet for sharing more about my life abroad and the life lessons learned along the way.

I agree. Americans are generally expected to be-and therefore are often-polite.

I’ve been accepted to a university in Paris that is tentatively scheduled to start classes late September 2020. With Covid-19 going on, would you suggest that it’s better to attend university in Paris this year, or should I wait a few years when the economy recovers? I really prefer to go in the fall, but I’m concerned about issues with the virus. I don’t mind being uncomfortable, but I don’t want to regret going too soon and during a crisis. Please, whatever thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Hey there! I completely understand your concern. How long do you have until you need to give them your decision? To be completely honest there is A LOT of unknown out here, we really do not know what the future holds in terms of next steps in Paris. We are on lockdown until May 11th with restaurants and shops staying closed still until mid/late July. My boyfriend's job phoned him last week telling him to expect to work from home until December! I hope this paints a better picture for you, but we are all really waiting to see when things will go back to normal. Hopefully we will have a clearer picture on May 11th if the confinement is lifted.

Thank so much for doing your videos! So needed, so appreciated. Your videos are inspiring for anyone thinking about a move to Paris. Just what I needed.
I have until the end of June to let them know if I plan to attend. If I don’t go to Paris in September, then I’m just gonna take a job offer in NYC. I’m an older student, so I feel like I don’t have a ton of years left to get my degree.
But it’s tricky to assess what to do, with what’s going on right now. I know moving to Paris at any time isn’t easy. I agree with you that going as a student is easier, because you’ll have the school’s support and resources to back you up. I will have that as well.
But I wanted your thoughts on moving to Paris for school during a pandemic since you are already there right now. I was told half the students returned to the US at the start of the pandemic, and the other half remained in their apartments.
Can you think of anything I should know if I do decide to attend the school there in the fall? I will get an apartment through the school, so no worries there. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.
