One of the problems with our current government is that it is full of politicians, not true representatives or statesmen. Our country cannot last when its government is full of people playing politics. The terms politics and politician are inherently corrupt. Career politicians have no place in our government.

I don't believe in term limits but I believe in forced breaks. So a senator has to skip a term after 2 terms. For the house say 4 terms they need a break of 4 years. This way they can't lobby in between their terms in office and we can keep electing those that actually do a good job since they will stand out.

Tulsi is more independent than Democrat. Even at the micro level. I remember people in my strata council building telling me how to vote or trying to get my proxy vote. I actually think he is a grifter, and he's openly admitted he'll tax the crap out of ME - I'm upper middle class. I'm never voting for a socialist or for anyone who raises my taxes. Period. My mind can't be changed. Which is a shame, because I support many of the moderate dems social policies (not PC stuff - but I support homosexual civil unions, homosexual civil rights in general, and as much egalitarianism of opportunity as we can ensure) as opposed to the GOP's god crap. This new crop of dems, though, can't vote for em. If most of them had their way, they'd tear up the Bill of Rights. It's obvious that they pushed Tulsi out because she actually is a moderate dem - which worries me even more about voting DNC at all.
