We're in Banagher now! we recorded the Scarriff video a few weeks ago. If you do spot our boat do make yourself known to us, the kettle is always on 👍 Weather is looking very good for next week, so you should have a great time on the lake. H&M
Hi Harry & Marion, Great vblog as usual ! Just back from a week last night Banagher to Lough Key & back, just see from posts below you were in Banagher last nite should have looked out for "Driftwood" ! River seems very high lots of flooding south of Athlone.
Hi and thanks. Ye, we had a few nights in Banagher. I do like Banagher and it's a great spot for the grandchildren when we have them with us, of course, I'm also drawn to Houghs and the Railway Bar!
@Kalevi H O Lehtonen Hi Kalevi, I would definitely include the festival in Ballinasloe. The inner lakes are off Lough Ree are super and Lecarrow Harbour is well worth a visit. There is a lesser known fort in Banagher on the east shore about a mile out of the town, Birr castle is also worth a visit but you would need a car. We are in Banagher at the moment but we will be well north by October. Hope you record some nice video 👍 H&M
I really don't use the depth sounder so couldn't say how deep it it. But there seems to be plenty water there. As for the fish, well they are safe with me, I'm a really poor fisherman!
