Even with the built in AS3X and SAFE she is still wobbly and you are 100% correct she needs SPEED at all times or things can go South in a hurry. Thanks for the "shake down" and hope all is well!

They are trying to make use of the 40mm EDFs from the Tomcat. If they made it bigger, they would only offer it for a year or two and then discontinue it. They don't keep many bigger planes in their lineup for very long. Mustang, Corsair, or F16, other than that if they make it and you want it, you better grab it fast.

I'm seeing more and more youtubers flying from parking lots and school yards, I've been stuck in the parking lot for years, Welcome to the club...LOL Parking Lot or school yard flying will make you a better pilot, because now you have to fight the wind and dodge all the obstacles like trees and lamp post, and oh yea, that random car that decides to drive through the parking lot when your ready to land...LOL The worst part of the parking lots is the curb that takes out your prop and nose gear, ugg 😡

I feel like many of the reviewers are trying not to say negative things about this release. It looks like it needs more power. It's a cool but odd release, in that it's aimed at entry level but flies (and orients) for a much higher level of skill. I'm afraid this one's going to break a lot of beginner hearts. Of course I'd love to see it with twin 70s and retracts!

A good review of this SR-71 model and great video as always. 👍 The use of the steerable nose wheel as a rudder may not be such a bad idea. You could modify it with some clear plastic (or something like it) cut to custom fit for use. Or set up flaps using the inside tail surfaces for better slow speed and landing performance.🤔🧙😇
