Need to do this on my C5 as well. Looks easy enough. Looking forward to your next video, my steering isn’t quite right on center either, and I tried adjusting the steering shaft coupler as well, with no luck. Keep up the great work! 👍🏻
Would you know if that would cause a vibration I have a vibration around 55 to 65 mph not sure where it's coming from I did my front inner and outer tie rods ball joints are good all of that is fine up front I'm just curious about the back if that would cause a noticeable vibration at highway speeds
That seems like a wheel/tire balance issue. Hard to diagnose via the Internet. But 95% of the time a vibration at very specific speeds is either a wheel bearing (less likely) or a tire/wheel balance issue.
Ok thanks for the response ill check that out👍p.s. i did my front inner and outer tie rods last weekend. Thanks to your video they went great and i used a pipe wrench as well worked perfectly!!
@@VetOnVettes thanks I'll inquire about that and last weekend I actually had all four wheels off their the stick on wheel weights I checked to make sure they're all still on and on fell off they were all good and I also just had new tires put on this season and they're all balanced so I think they're good but I will look into it thank you so much for your response I love your channel and all that you do for us you helped many of people!
glad you posted this man, im pretty sure mine are broken too and im gonna go ahead and order some rear tie rods right now
Thanks for all these videos man, I just bought an '04 targa 6 speed and you've been a lifesaver on what to expect/what to yell at my mechanics about
Do you have the link or part number to the tie rod? I need to replace my rear tie rod on my FRC.

I have to do all four of mine. Not having an easy time finding the parts.
Can you post a link to where you purchased? When looking for these I haven’t been able to find for less than 100.00 each
Hey! Which tie rods are these? Im having a hard time finding good ones online.
On the c6 z-51, that rear tie rod has a grease fitting that nobody greases. I’ll grease it once every few years
Can you post the part number from rock auto? Having same issue on mine.
So how are you liking the coilovers? Considerable difference?? What's the ride like??

@@kevinbryant6459 awesome 👍😎. If all the psi's are good take your tires to get "road forced balanced". It's not terribly expensive and it's quick.

Dumb question...Does the car have to be jacked up when testing this?
Yes 👍
I'm going to guess, looks like a MOOG. I did my front ones on my C6 Z06 and it I used MOOG cause it was definitely beefier than the stock one.
It looks and feels like a moog product. It didn't say on the packaging though 🤷🏼♂️
Where did you buy yours from
Rock auto
How many miles on your c5 my car had sway bar end links fail at 75 k
