I’ve recently stumbled upon your industry through your channel and a few others. I’ve gotta say, I am hooked. This seems like the perfect fit for me. I’m not sure why I hadn’t thought of it before, because I used to work for a very wealthy man who had supposedly made his fortune with a rental business. I used to work with pole tents all the time at the vineyard and winery business he built in his retirement. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks…..and ramble on a bit I guess.
Hey Lee, I have a question. A customer has had a death in the family. Services will be held 6 hours away from our city. They need to rent from us, and transport them themselves bcus where the services are being held, it's graduation weekend and no one has tables chairs available. Those of you who have done this, what did you ask your customer for? Either proof of insurance etc. Fyi, they will pay in full before we even load them on their trailer.

Do you think a rental business offering pick ups only would work?
Definitely! You may lose some clients, but it's totally possible. We just started in January, and most of our rentals are self pickups.
