Cutting A Road Through The Woods - Part 1 (DeanoFarms: Week 70)

I need a road to connect my front pasture to my back pasture. This will take some time and lots of tree cutting, clearing, chipping, and leveling. Of course, everything will take longer than I want it to take (it always does). This is part one (of ?). #deanofarms

When I cut bigger trees on my property, I'll put my tractor bucket as high as it will go and put slight pressure against the tree before cutting my lead in it. Once I get my lead cut, I'll cut from the other side until I get through most of it and jump on my tractor, and push it in the direction I want it to fall. I enjoy watching videos like this. Thank you

That's a good idea. I've used my truck and chain to pull the direction I want to go as well. I'd rather the tree just go where I want it to go without any of my stuff near it (including me). LOL Whatever I do I move slow and use an abundance of caution because I don't really know what I'm doing and I don't want to die! YIKES!

The red chaps appears to be the official uniform of “helping livestock over the fence…..repeatedly.”

When you move here we'll turn the back field and woods into airsoft wars! Those are so I don't cut off my pee pee and die!
