my tacoma oil coler is currently in its second round of the ultrasonic cooler. i would delete but i dont wont to change the water pump or whatever. two less expensive hoses to leak coolant and overheat your engine. i think with modern synthetic oils it would be fine to delete it.
Just wondering, if the delete kit removes the oil cooler, and people mentioned just adding another oil filter, could you use the cooler delete on the original filter side and relocate the filter to the rear? I have yet to get my conversion into high gear, but would/will this give extra clearance for a solid axle rig, plus maybe giving more filter access for oil changes in the future. So far this kit and the harness will be the only thing I'll be ordering, everything else I sourced locally in my home state just as you did. The only other thing I will probably have to order is a complete air intake from the airbox to the throttle body. This is turning out to be a hard to find section of parts, that and I do not want to run a goofy air intake system because they just draw in hot air from inside the engine bay.
Hello friend, I have a 4Runner 1993 3.0 V6 4x4 automatic transmission, do you think this option of eliminating the oil cooler is good for her? It is currently stopped in the garage because the oil cooler hose union of the block is damaged. What do you recommend? Please help
@@NuttyNu Hello 👋 I hope you are well I bought the kit to remove the system oil cooler but he asked me if there is anything else to remove besides just the cooler the connection to the block and the outlet of the water pump maybe it is a small radiator that goes in front of the truck or is that one left? I thank you for your help
Good video man, but I think you should have keep the flow of the coolant that's comes out from the block and goes to the water pump outlet. Remember that outlet that you plug from the engine block coolant travels down the cylinder head to the block and finally to the water pump outlet to be refreshed. When i did my delete I instead put other filter where the engine cooler was and instead of plugging the outlet from the block like you did, I keep the flow of the coolant from the engine block to the pump by connecting a hose directly from the engine outlet to the water pump outlet. I live in South Texas and it gets real freaking hot over here in the summer and I don't want a overheating problem on my engine. Just a observation.
Do you have any input on how to fix a hair line crack where the oil sending unit mounts? I tried jb weld, spay on teflon. No luck on stopping the oil leak.
love the 6 uh torque spec. 😆

Yeah it’s a pain, but worth it in the long run.
👍🏻

I believe you can do that, also check me out on Instagram as I'm parting out a 3.4 4runner right now, I might have some thing you need.
@Nuttynu_4x4
How is this doing 3 yrs later? Any negative results? Any noticeable benefits? Thanks🤙🏼
None!
@ nice…are you doing oil changes more often?
Thank you young man

I would just delete it
@@NuttyNu thanks 🙏🏼 I’m going to buy the same kit for my truck but I believe they don’t shipped to México 🇲🇽

Yes in a hotter state. I would. But for Alaska, it’s fine

Crack on the block?
Bro, where can i buy the oil cooler delete kit?
I got it from Yota shop as mention in the video
I wish I knew this was even a option I never even heard of it until this! My motors already in so I’m not taking it out to put this in 😂
Still doable. Just a hassle if your engines in
@@NuttyNu that’s the tightest spot on the truck lol I put all new seals so it SHOULD be okay until I blow it up 😂
Get it Nu !! Looks good 🙂
I love your channel because I’m all about firearms and cars lol. Keep it up Kwj Tig Hmoob!!!
Good job.
Many many thanks
Nice job
thanks bro !
Bro, what do you call to that parts?
oil cooler delete
I installed 3.4 engine that didn’t have the oil cooler. I installed the one from the old engine. The new engine overheats, should I have left it off?
Delete it
Damn I remember you since 2020 instagram lol
