Karl Urban is actually from NZ, and quite often his accent bleeds through, but definitely better than most Americans trying to pull off a British accent.
@@Hannah125i I think its intentional. Urban is perfectly capable of doing a British accent; see his role as Eomer. Unless he struggles that much between cockney and mainstream British

I actually really hated Butcher for that. Hughie was pretty justified. doesn't change how I feel about his character though, absolutely brilliant.

I saw the boys before it blew up, knowing this would be the absolute best show in the world. I'm not trying to say I'm special, but this show sure made me want to feel special! The acting is so close to reality, if you from the slum, there is nuances of that, if you come from the upper class there is also nuances of that. It has it all.
If you think of the older generations that always say "shows like this, wouldnt have been political correct today" - The fact that it works today, just shows we need more of these kind of shows!
Idk why but when he sipped the tea, I just havnt seen that scene since I first watched it and knowing his character like I do now, I just got the biggest fucking smile, like it just kept getting bigger and bigger the longer it went on
