She knew strangers were danger for the baby and kept them back. She's the sweetest dog so I'm sure she was just so freaked out and worried cause she knew the baby should NOT be out there and stayed tight to him keeping strange people away from him. An officer came and asked him, "what were you doing out front all alone?"...he said, "Going on a lion hunt" and the officer chuckled realized it was a case of a sneaky small kid while mom was cooking dinner slipping away on a mission of his own.) I was just horrified, embarrassed, and relieved that he'd snuck away from me but that he was OK! I appreciated the dog doing her job and trying to stay w him and protect him when he got far from me.
