Mysterious Hero Rescues Grandmother Trapped in Car

- Carla Long was driving to a doctor's appointment in Chester County, Pennsylvania, when she hit a slick spot on a curve. Her car landed upside down in the woods, leaving her trapped inside the vehicle. Out of nowhere, a good Samaritan appears and calls 911. The unidentified man stayed around to make sure Long exited her car safely. Currently, she is recovering from her injuries, but her one wish is to meet the hero who saved her life.
What an AWESOME man to stop what he was doing & put his life in danger to help this precious woman!!! He certainly needs recognition!!! Well done, sir!!!👏👏👏

Why should the guy be a hero? Because he called an ambulance and then left her without checking to make sure she wasn't hurt?
Calling an ambulance is a matter of course and not a heroic act.

If you think this guy is an hero, you're setting the bar a little low.
Calling 991 to help someone that is trapped in a car does not require hero qualities, just basic human empathy. It's your moral duty and even legal duty in some countries.
You got caught up in the click bait title of the video.
We need to find this man. She said she can't do anything for him, but WE can. Together we can and he deserves it. He almost got hurt too, trying to help her. I notice they never said anything about the people in the truck that hit her too. I hope they're OK too. So thankful she's okay. ♥

Thankfully someone helped. Sad that several cars passed by and didn’t stop. This wasn’t someone on the side of the road trying to replace a tire it was a flipped car!

Going by the image of the stacked trucks, I'm assuming they didn't see that truck. The corner was to the left and she fell to the right of the road. Just guessing.

She said "ow" like she stubbed her toe while going to get a snack from the kitchen. Strong woman! Absolutely pitiful that no one stopped if they saw her car. Glad she's not injured. She was very lucky that other vehicle didn't kill her after she originally survived her accident.

A true genuinely nice person. He helped a complete stranger in her time of need. He didn't care for the publicity or fame that could have came, he just wanted to help someone in need.
That’s a terrible experience to go through alone, I hope they reunite these two people! Thank you to the kind man for helping, and potentially risking his life for others.

I'm so glad that she's going to make a full recovery. How terrifying! Surely someone saw the wreck happen. It's appalling that no one stopped to help as soon as it happened. Bravo to that sweet, young man!
I'm glad she's ok, her poor husband too. It must have been absolutely terrifying to hear your wife scared like that, and then you hear another crash and you can't do anything to help her!
This remindes me of a time me and my dad were either leaving the zoo or on our was to the zoo but a tire went flat and we didn't have anything to replace it, it took a long time but eventually a man stopped and helped us and I hope to never forget him.

Bright neon sweatshirt and worn-out jeans, this man must've been a construction worker of sorts, on a schedule, on his way to where he needed to be. So glad out of his busy schedule, he had the heart to investigate the crash, notice Carla, and help direct emergency responders to her.

Black ice is scary because most people don't see it. Hopefully they put signs up to warn people to be aware of it. Especially going around corners. Also, don't hit your breaks when you start sliding, it only makes it worse. Cheers to the nice man and to a speedy recovery to the passengers in both cars.
Here in Germany it’s a crime if you go past someone who needs help, e.g. in an accident like this without helping.

I hope this may help: I've been in this exact situation instead I was the bystander. Two lane highways can be very unassuming. I was behind a car that was about 50 meters in front of me and as they took a left turn around a bend they were out of sight, then as I followed and took the same left I only barely noticed their car flipped over in the ditch. It took me almost another 50 meters driving past before I realized and I pulled over to run back to help them.
The only part of their vehicle I saw were the very bottoms of the tires poking out of the ditch. It was a family of three and as far as I know, everyone survived. I believe they lost control just like the woman in the video.
This route I was driving was one that I did essentially every day, twice for almost 4 years. You don't notice things as quick as you would walking vs. going 40+ MPH

This unidentified human in this video is a legend to have stopped and took time to address the overturned vehicle while other drivers passed by.
I get why the other drivers didn't stop. It is a busy road, they don't know where the random honking may have been coming from, and the overturned car may have rolled off their minds as "oh it didn't just happen."
Still, the driver who stopped to walk up to the overturned car definitely did a good deed that day. Happy that there's still good humans on this huge planet that can support life.
We need people like him .

"I couldn't get out of my seat." I'm assuming by this she means she couldn't undo her belt buckle while upside-down (or sideways). People need to be taught how to unbuckle themselves in these situations. If there's weight on the seatbelt and buckle (e.g from being-upside down), your hanging weight will keep the buckle locked. You're literally using your thumb to overcome your bodyweight- which is not gonna happen. You have to use your hands and legs to prop yourself up and alleviate pressure from the buckle so it will release when you press the button.
From the POV of her dash cam, her arms may have been pinned in place. She may not have been able to move them at all.

55mph allowed, drove above 60mph in a corner and she didnt seem to see it or neither react to it untill she was sliding, i know the dashcamer is more central and higher but at some point if youre close enought before hitting it youll propably see it, but was actually indeed lucky

It was cary, isn’t it. That’s why we have to drive carefully, especially when it snows. It’s highly possible to hit a slick spot. It can lead to accident, once you get trapped and stuck, you’re not able too get out of your way if you landed upside down, your car flipped. That’s was lucky for her because her guardian angel came at the right time. It would be series of stacking cars on the side of the road and many peaces of debris if one by one cars just drove by and no one stopped to help. God bless her, she is one the mend. Hope the wonderful things to her and her unidentified hero
Well, ok, but what about the truck!? Amazing the truck ended up in exactly the same spot and flipped over too. So glad the good samaritan was unhurt because it's often a matter of 'no good deed goes unpunished.'
I’ve helped people in similar situations at least 20 times. Every time I was stoned and felt like I had to get out of there before the cops showed up

I can’t believe people saw a car flipped on it’s freaking hood and didn’t even call the cops. Forget stopping. No one even bothered to CALL THE POLICE?????? What is WRONG with people today? I’m a single women and I am usually driving my little nephews and nieces around. I may not have stopped because of safety reasons, but I would have called the police and pulled over 100 yards or so up the road until emergency services got to her. I’m so tired of the lack of compassion, and common decency in today’s society. It makes me sick.
