I still have it, looks just like the one you’re playing, but mine cracked when I was about 19. Still is the prettiest sounding guitar I own. You know that it is easier to play than most guitars...perfect for “Blackbird”.

There are hundreds of cover versions of Blackbird and most fail because people mess up the fingering even if they have a good voice. You have a great voice and you’ve completely nailed the fingering. Oh, and you look much better than Paul McCartney too :)

Along with Corinne Bailey Rae's White House performance, this is the best cover I've seen of Blackbird. The playing is so good too - it's not an easy tune to play. Bravo!

It takes some time to learn, but it's really not as difficult as it sounds. Maybe I have longer fingers than most? Many Beatle songs are at a similar level of difficulty, in fact, or maybe I forget that in 1963 I was only 15 and could learn a lot of these tunes by ear thanks to my Dad who could sing beautifully - quien quiere?

bitovino Actually, it is not that bad, since a note is the perfect fifth in D chord... Nothing wrong with playing it in bass. The wrong part is on "Blackbird flying"... whatever she plays, it is wrong. The right chord progression for this part is: F, e minor, d minor, C, Bb, C... She got only two last chords right
I know it's been six months since this comment was posted but you just can't use the word "Wrong" to describe a cover. It's someone else's take on a song, there is no point in covers that are the exact same as the original.

Reminds me of when I was a little child my brothers would play the Beatles songs and I loved this song the most out of all of them. I often wonder if that’s why I now love black birds ravens crows etc. This was sang beautifully I think I like it even better than Beatles version just stunning
