What about people with cochlear implants. They use something very similar to wireless charging, but send power and sound waves down to code. This gets sent through your skin in your head to the magnet where the processer is and electrodes are. Electrodes then sends vibrations into the nerve. Would it effect these people with cochlear implant (s)?

I'm not trying to split hairs here, the Bose systems work on a magnetic resonance basis, radio frequencies are also a form of electromagnetic radiation. The only problem that I see with this larger transmitter would be that large electromagnetic devices and power hole radio devices has not been tested thoroughly enough to know the medical implications. Also for thinking about energy efficiency making a large magnetic field produces efficiency significantly, if this were to game Sirius attention and popularity then we would be reducing our phones power efficiency significantly. This would be fine if we were all running solar or some other carbon-neutral type of energy generation, but I could see this drastically increasing our carbon footprint when used in the large-scale. Great concept, but I think the best idea would be to make phones charge extremely quickly like a supercapacitor, then retain their charge for a few days.

There used to be a company that'd put wireless electric AC transceivers underneath entire room foundations. They'd then sell transceivers for the NEMA socket end. It'd work very similarly to a step-down transformer. Big coil at very high voltage resonates with a small coil at a small voltage. I'd imagine they're not around anymore because people with pacemakers exist, and homes are flammable.
Also, very similarly, military cold war radio transceivers were built so that radio techs could use ambient radio frequencies to power their short-range setups. Similar idea but I guess everyone forgot because of the simplistic nature of just plugging stuff in and paying for electricity.

The reason is almost certainly because it's extremely dangerous. To get 110V wirelessly with a coil the size of your foundation, that'd have to be very high voltage. That, and it'd certainly start a fire if not set up properly.
