Bracket racers are very black and white on tubes. Yes or no is all you get.
If you street race, no prep, back of the track, etc, there is a huge variable with tubes and stiff vs soft sidewall and every car is different. There is no right answer, only what works for your application.

Giving the lower tube inflation rates you'll be using with dragslicks, slick retention screws are a must. Noting worse than shearing a slick sidewall in the traps. What compound # are you using with the Eagles? Good luck with the upcoming season!

I’m my opinion big tires are unnecessary rotation mass unless your at 2500 hp and up. These days Guys are running 160mph, high 4 seconds with a 28 10.5.

I recently purchased a 31x16.50x15 Hoosiers tires? My question is once mounted how much more would it grow? Trying to see if I’m going to have clearance issues before I mount the tires. I’m thinking I should do a 31x14.50x15 tire but if the 16.50 side wall doesn’t grow much I might just keep them any advice thanks
